yes shill - $200 was the figure I keep in mind as a "buyers" price - or about 8p per share, without the rest of the businesses

and if GDP made $200 per oz (very conservative) on those 88k TSF ounces that would be a profit of $16 million, roughly 3 times the current market cap.

correct Sea. I know people hate buying a share when its up 20% on the day but I will honestly be surprised if GDP isn't above 5p by early next year. If you extrapolate the Q1 profits then this will be the roughly the same profit as when we were above 8p in 2018.

from an asset perspective, the 88k oz gold contained in the TSF, may be some time before they monetise it, however, it is not the same as gold in the ground - they have accurate deposition records. This is not recognised in the share price at all.

correct shill,

most MMs do not have any real clue about the underlying value of the instrument they are making the market in - they just price based on the order book and not much else.

and the market makers opened this unchanged at 8am- if ever you wanted evidence they haven't got a clue....

and interesting that Werner now says looking for "an investment partner or BUYER for Kilimapesa." Lets hope they have had an offer for the whole mine - along with Anumso its quite possible GDP receives a figure close to the market cap for these two. From memory Desert Gold paid $1.5 mullion for 51% of Anumso, so in order to make it worth their while you would think they would be after a multiple of that figure, GDP would collect roughly the same with a 49%(?) holding.

Goldplat paid 1.5 MILLION usd for anumso or banka as it was known

Initial non jorc was 250k oz down to 100metres

South Africa on course for making over £4 million this year (roughly the same as the market cap for the whole group !). Ghana should offset Kili C and M and the kicker of a possible windfall from Anumso (anyone any idea of its value ??). This highlights the absurd undervaluation of GDP, lets see how long it takes to get on Investors radar.

Yes, good progress.

An update on the Tsf confirms it once again as a valuable asset, however, it is going to be a while before that gets monetised.

Sourcing in ghana - as always, however, getting better.

Good to see the decision on anumso is the right one.

Well my view of GDP has always been that if it can produce £3m profit pa then we would be looking at 20p a share.

That has been a pipe dream so far. However South Africa made about £2m attributable post tax profit last year. With the new gold prices, if they are sustained, I would expect that to increase to £3m at least.

If they can get the rest of the stuff at break even then we will be making £3m.

Anyway we will see if any steps forward have been made towards that at the AGM. Hopefully there will be news on:

1. Kili - like Brexit it just drags on and gets ever more expensive. Needs a resolution, even if it is just packing the job up and selling the assets for whatever you can get.

2. It would be interesting to get numbers on the effect of the gold price increase on GDP

3. There was talk of getting stocks of lower grade material which they say they can now process profitably. It would be good to get large enough stockpiles to guarantee profits well into the future.

4. The TSF. I think that they will announce the decision for a new stock dam. I think once the dam wall is built they could churn the material into the new area. We shall see what they say.

5. There was talk of tolling in Ghana. Very profitable last time but needs governement permission. Perhaps being on the inside of the mercury clean up, if they are, wll allow a quid pro quo on tolling.

6. The sourcing of material for Ghana needs sorting. If they can get 10kozs pa then it will produce a profit of c£1.5m

7. There was talk about using their skillsets in different areas. I presumed that this means clean ups. If they can get stuck into this then it is big business. They theoretically have a number advantages.

8. There was a mention of mobile processing. Presumably this is as a result of the trials in Ghana has shown the benefits of so doing. It would remove the costs of transporting material and perhaps strengthen their hand on clean ups.

Anyway we shall see soon.

and from the results for comparison "the average Gold price of US$1,263/oz (2018: US$1,293/oz) was slightly lower than the previous period."

Silver looks like it might be breaking up, it often leads Gold lets see if Gold can do the same above $1515, then we would be off to the races again.

They do have a lot of work to do but they should be able to do it. The POG can only have helped. Now oversold again in my opinion.

Lets be pragmatic for a £5m mcap.
For this year
What is the target ozs to be produced (ex Kili).
What is the target margin % on sales (ex Kili)
How many ozs are held in stocks by sub.
How many ozs are held in WIP by sub(ex 3rd party contract)
