MMs must be tight for stock (for first time in ages) if someone had to pay 24p for only 20k.

Lol. It’s the same for me, to getbackbto break -even here would probably involve the break-up of the euro, and the wiping out of half my personal wealth!
I have never had any luck investing in gold.

Ditto stevieweebie...I averaged out and need 25p for breakeven....sitting on 43000 shares :-( still it is looking rosier than a week ago :-)

I know, but Im deep under water still, need tragic news from Italy,China etc to motor me back to profit lol, of course my pension will be halved at the same time but what you gonna do right !!!

The top half of the Comex POG flagpole is emerging (breaking out above the pennant) - let's hope it reaches the top.

There are flag patterns on the GLD and GDX charts and a pennant on the Comex chart in the header. If these flags & pennant are halfway up the flagpole and break upwards, we may get the spec. short closing that is needed for a decent rally.

Well I'm regarding this as something of a port in a storm. Reluctant at this point to go overweight in it, but it offers some stability in what has been a torrid fortnight. Comex does look positive though, and on this, MACD has turned up.

It's about time that GPM's share price chart started to look a bit more like this one:



HUI is up 20% from its low.
GPM up 5%.

Could there be an overhang after that big volume day?

gold might be breaking out to upside.
have bought some GPM, as it should be a leveraged play on a rising gold price.
if gold makes new lows, then ill get out....
