24/9/2009 08:34 | Phil here is your chance | trt
23/9/2009 11:15 | Another tree shake to try and get hold of stock no doubt. Perhaps they have a large buy order to fill | trt
23/9/2009 11:01 | Another GOG tree-shake by the MMs this morning. Missed it unfortunately. I have an SB account with CMC, they have increased the margin rate to 10 - 15% so I can't trade at the moment. Anyone else affected? Skint otherwise! | phil140158
22/9/2009 15:06 | Yes Keran this share always seems to reward everyone after any weakness. | trt
22/9/2009 09:04 | Grabbed a few more this morning | keran
21/9/2009 12:29 | Oh another little opportunity !! | trt
19/9/2009 08:46 | Excellent phil, Another reason for holding - the AGM is on the 29th October when one assumes the company will update on how things are going. This will provide yet another boost to the share price no doubt. | trt
18/9/2009 20:52 | Not quite £16, trt. Good steady progress from GOG, the dividend in November is a draw for new investors and those topping up and encourages investors to hold when the price dips a bit. I persuaded my local investment club to buy in August, so big brownie points for me there. They wanted to take a profit last night, but I persuaded them to hold. You would have been proud of me, trt | phil140158
18/9/2009 15:05 | Hmm will we touch £16 by the close !! | trt
18/9/2009 13:43 | Up up and away again !!! | trt
17/9/2009 15:57 | An opportunity on weakness | trt
17/9/2009 11:22 | Good morning all, Still holding and pleased to do so. Trt you do seem to be right an awful lot of the time about GOG as phil says.I think GOG is a very illiquid share and it only takes a little flurry of buys going through and the market makers up the share price so its very feasible we might reach £16 by the end of tomorrow. Trt you mention £17 next week, well anything is possible especially if GOG is so undervalued compared to its peers. | keran
17/9/2009 11:00 | Hi Phil, As you know the fundamentals speak for themselves and I / we know GOG is undervalued. For me at the moment its all a question of grabbing as many shares as I can before the date needed ( 6/11/09 )to register my total holding to receive the dividend which is a whopping 55.5p per share. | trt
17/9/2009 10:30 | Anyone coming across this thread, not knowing trt as we all do!, might think 'Steady on trt, your getting a bit carried away!' I've got a feeling he might be right! (again!) | phil140158
17/9/2009 09:09 | Nearly 12 months ago in September 2008 during the stock market turmoil and depths of the recession the GOG share price along with every other share was marked down heavily - GOG was down to £18.Now with the recession virtually over GOG remains undervalued as Normua pointed out in its broker upgrade last week. Currently at £15.60 GOG still has plenty of share price growth remaining as fair value should now be well above the lows of £18 in Sept 2008. IMHO | trt
17/9/2009 08:12 | Share price surging ahead from the open - £16 this week moving on up to £17 next week. I am struggling a bit to get another buy order in, I think GOG is in demand | trt
16/9/2009 14:26 | US futures are up showing a strong start to trading in the US. UK market should go higher this afternoon as a result I reckon with GOG benefiting from that and moving up also. | trt
16/9/2009 12:51 | It happens ! I've sold out of this one too early on more than one occasion. You've just got to do what you feel comfortable with at the time and put the most pointless words in the history of investment "If only I'd..........." out of your mind, which admittedly is often easier said than done !!! | bluebelle
16/9/2009 12:02 | Only joking Bluebelle. I'm sore that I took the cash out of GOG, but I still have some in and I didn't 'take it off the table' as I intended but bought into utilities, so I've done OK since and I like the balance of my positions a bit better now. | phil140158
16/9/2009 11:34 | Sorry, phil : not my intention, I assure you !!! | bluebelle
16/9/2009 11:08 | trt, on the subject of Level 2 data. I get Level 2 from CMC (I guess it is all the same). For GOG there are a number of brokers who have a buy and sell order usually in GOGs case for 2000 shares. They very rarely come to the top and are fulfilled, but move up and down in value along with the share price. Could you explain why they do that? | phil140158
16/9/2009 10:24 | Level 2 looking very good indeed for GOG - share price could move up very swiftly all of a sudden | trt
16/9/2009 10:00 | Yes I think we will reach £16 very soon possibly by close of play on Friday. Stock market looking very healthy indeed at the moment new money pouring in as Funds don't want to miss any of the action. Such a strong case now for adding and holding as I have mentioned before IMHO | trt
16/9/2009 09:03 | Don't rub it in, Bluebelle. I'm about £800 down on my closed positions already! | phil140158
16/9/2009 08:46 | There is a small amount of technical resistance to be expected at these levels which, if broken, should take us to around the £16 mark | bluebelle |
