Well there was no July news. Looking like they have mistimed it.
Were GBP just lucky in the past or do they actually have some skill?
Not impressed so far but no doubt they are.

The spike to 4.5p late July looks like 5 Million purchased around 4p, or someones £200,000 investment. The pump and dump brigade quoted on here was not what we saw, the proceeding sell off never came.

We've had a few days where volume has started to pick up in the last 6 months, meaning its likely to be the end of this 3-4 year downtrend. Another high volume period like the end of July and this is beginning to look interesting. Inside info or just good value its waiting to happen.

Longer it takes to exploit, the more the cash pile ebbs away or just erodes. They should poop or get off the pot.

It's very good acreage. Imo, one of the best around there.

The BoD should level and share their agenda with shareholders.

Unnecessary to say I don't believe they are.

Share price deterioration could increase pressure on mgmt to wind up the company
and return cash to shareholders. On that basis a continued drop is quite welcome.
Post wind-up and costs I'd estimate there would be 4.5p cash per share available.

Thaaarg, I did not regard your post as anything other than a simple straightforward post -as you put it- and was happy to see it setting the matter straight. Thx!

Olieslim,

I was looking to add after reading ohtaxes proclamation on the iii GBP BB, at about 1530hrs, that GBP had 'disappeared' from the 'In Markets' FEC page, a la DES.

I thought it only prudent to confirm that fact before I bought, only to find it had was in fact still listed on the 'In Market' page.

I thought it the right course of action to inform the BB immediately that this was the case.

A simple straighforward post, not evidence of the culmination of an amateur boiler room scam.

P.S.

2 remarkable's on the hike to 4.9p:

12:39 22/07/2014 Re: TRP moving up north !!!
Possible Namibian farmout.

First energy capital have amended their website, GBP are no longer in the 'In market' section of their website.

Last time that happened was with Desire Pet', when they got taken out by FOGL.

Deal done imo

Has to be a buy By Ohtaxes

Then came MaxV with the intro asking for attention, after confirmed with the centrepiece while the tool (Arminius aka Mars_2050 aka Illimunati1) started copy posting everything he could he get his hands on.
4.9p was business done as MaxV signals and calling it over.

Best seems to do nothing (no buying, no selling) Let them throw the money at it to get it further down untill it looks cheap enough or like they ran outof playmoney. If it looks cheap enough then, don't hesitate and get 'their' shares. But buy only what you can hold or you play into their cards And don't worry, at this share price there is value. Just be careful.

Hang low for a while? They are buying the shares that drop of. Get some too but keep the chute for when they and/or the MMobtoys put in a final effort (stoplosses).

Nothing happens? News will take care of them soon enough, I hope, when they don't get the shares.

GL

P.S. Buyorders on the bid, or just below. You'll get them
Sell orders ABOVE the ask, if you need to sell. They'll take'm No need to let go of shares cheaply here.

People are letting their shares go way too cheap. Tsk,tsk, tsk.

Anyway, bottom not far 'again'. Doubt the share price will get there.

Buy when they do. Which is right about...

Management/BoD useless the best option might be a takeover at almost no premium just to get rid of the incumbents

Pleased to see the interest. Might not be just speculation as there was talk of action July timeframe. I have no doubt it is worth more than the recent lows by a decent margin, over cash balance too, but management have been comatose.

Lets hope for some reality to the speculation.

Should at least trade at cash on this "news".

While GBP's plot is on the "wrong" side of TLW's Namibian prospects I thought the Eco deal with Tullow got surprisingly little coverage a few days ago.
(Tullow clearly lining up prospects with adjacent PCL there )

One of the more likely of many possibilities, re: the of the list post

Fact is this went down on the TRP half-a-duster of which the dust part only made the GBP blocks more valuable, imo. So it had to come back up sometime after the shorters had their fill.

News expected that should rejoin the share price with the value of the cash at the least. How much that is remains to be seen but defo more than where the share price came from this morning.

The last implies this is more a 'natural' rerate than a P&D.

Meanwhile volume approaching a level that suggest a news leak. Not there yet, but day ain't over.

Things are happening at this very moment at CHAR. Maybe some unhappy money came over and explains part of the volume. btw char raising for something and maybe locally interested to participate if things here will happen.

Let's hope it is the F/O to a Major.

Organised Pump brigade just doing lots small trades to create impression of increased activity. Reel in the small mug punters to push the price higher. Pump brigade then exit, leaving mug punters holding expensive stock.Seen it many many times. When will mug punters learn not to chase everything..?
