But - At 5p buy its almost a free ride on TRP's result so why wait?
I really can't understand folk selling at 4.8p in spite of the almost cynical way the share is being played by the directors..

PS I think mid June for an RNS .

It got close to 2m vol in the end but as ever no follow through.

MACD looks close to a turn though and results from TRP should be around month end so maybe some speculative interest around that.

Given how slow this is to react I would prefer to wait to see TRP results before taking a plunge on this. You also have the option of trading the Aussie line if news comes out after hours ?

Needs a 2m vol day for it to be real volume. Good start though.

I agree re being sick of this lot but 2p on a TRP duster?? Seriously? Never say never but I doubt it - not exactly a huge amount of buying in anticipation of that result so why should there be a huge sell off after the result?

i wish people would stop saying mcap = cash. So what. That won't stop this falling to 2p if trp hit a duster

I have been in GBP for a while and made some good money on it in the past and exited well when it was obviously over valued.

I wonder if they might look to take it private this time?
The bottom could be something ridiculous, especially if the oil price falls.

The strategy needs to lead to some real oil or gas. As is, it just looks like a grab for rights alone.

MWG will come good - just very annoyed with the management. To their credit they are getting some good products out and the sector is a good one to grow into.

Pinkfish - for those of us who've been here a while its quite evidently deliberate.
If Welwit turns out well they're quids in ...and as EV = 0 at the mo that could be substantial .
If its a disaster ie nothing in any of the levels they're drilling through - they actually DO something else.
Left field they could get a farmout into their Namib patch in the next month or so.Doubtful but...remember the CEO bought a lot of shares end March.

But as market cap = cash I reckon you should just be patient.
As I say the Peters are playing the long game here.

PS Have to say I'm more hopeful here than MWG .

The one benefit here was the strong cash position. It is being eroded month after monthe whilst others with less cash make progress and are worth whatever cash they subsequently need.

I wonder how they would cope if they had to do something?
Panic?
Look to sell the company?

Back to cash value; £9.7m market cap with £9.7m cash forecast by quarter end
Antrim Energy has a £6.5m market cap with £9.7m cash forecast by quarter end

Both duds in need of corporate activity but AEY the better value opportunity

Just wish they would do something with this lot. Be intresting to see how this reacts to TRP's drill.
