It is a different Basin to be fair but good to see majors still interested in areas where there have been dusters/gas. Now what price GBP's licences given they are actually next door to TRP's ?

Well worth looking at the TRP's January presentation hxxp://www.towerresources.co.uk/investor/files/TRP_CorporatePresentation_0114.pdf

DSDP wells prove the presence of world class source rocks (up to 18% TOC) to the
west of the licence - page 13.

The apathy levels alone suggest a rerate.

At these prices we are getting the possibility of something for nothing; you buy 5ks worth of shares and you get 5k of cash back, plus prospects in for free; sounds a good deal to me.

outstanding pedigrees mean outstanding payscales :-))
if trp has commercial oil strike, then can see gbp trying to get farmout done that would be better than the pcl/tullow deal... with some cash to levels of $10mill or so thrown in... :-))
then they could do as they have until now... not much :-))
but granted... in such a situation, the share price will have risen by a few multiples at least...

At least 3 Directors now with outstanding pedigrees.... maybe more to this than meets the eye...?

they have set it up so that IFF trp gets a commercial oil strike, then gbp will effectively cash in on that with the proximity of their namib licence... not much else to it really... the rest u know...

Don't blame you.

These guys have apparently done little for the last few years. Each update seems to be yet more flannel, work in progress etc etc. Surprised they've managed it for so long myself.

"Fast forward two months and bids expected for nambian farm in and TRP spud

fast forward another month or so and farm in news and TRP result expected. "

And if its another duster o'er at TRP? Which is highly likely given how risky expolo is in the first instance. What's the COS of this well TRP are spudding out of interest.

Good morning,

I guess the Board had to be seen to be doing something to justify their existence in their posts. I am assuming they will go back to sleep for a while now. It is a taxing life for some share price well down and cash revenues must have diminished. I am hoping when things really come to life this will go up like a Roman Candle pun intended with Italy in the news today

"another "project" which will take 2 years to even get close to any kind of action

That's optimistic...if there's one area guaranteed to be 'dead slow' and 'stop', it's offshore Italy :-(

See PCI and MOG...

All the activity mentioned is across the "border"....

Sceptical myself of Offshore Italy. Still , at least they're pulling their finger out after wasting two years waiting on others to do anything in Namibia.

Sold this duffer a long time ago fortunately.

Aussies sceptical...

"another "project" which will take 2 years to even get close to any kind of action and by that time with admin at $5m per 2 years flowing mainly into office rentals and flying around business class - and Italy - well nice place to visit for business trips too -

welwhitchia Well in Namibia will be drilled in march and heaven help gbp price again if that is a dud - 6c!!!!

the GBP business plan is a shocker and if you think of what has transpired in the last 2-3years and what Cos like pvd/far/pcl/swe/tpt/ - have been able to acquire whilst GBP reckons it has gone through so many possible project reviews and found none suitable - what do you think wasa???"
