22/4/2020 07:32 | NB the placing was under EIS so these funds have to hold for min 3 years. By that time these should be £1+ | czar
21/4/2020 11:40 | Any companies in particular who GFin rely upon for supporting these events ? As in subcontract elements to, for example ? | cokehookerscars
21/4/2020 11:36 | So who will Betway go to in order to get their e-sports adverts onto alternative advertising mediums ? | cokehookerscars

21/4/2020 08:33 | Basically all new concepts take a while to take off. GFIN'S Time has come at last I think. A strange an unfortunate catalyst has proved it's worth. | hazl
21/4/2020 08:29 | I think the company will certainly have enough cash to get to breakeven. The company raised £2.25m but will also receive another £2.25m from the warrants over the next 18 months. So £4.5m in total. Since the warrants are so far in the money I expect a lot of them to be exercised quickly, so GFIN could receive a lot of the £2.25m early on in the 18 month period. | mcfly79
21/4/2020 08:25 | 168m new shares to be issued by end of week at 1p onced rubber stamped today at GM. | jungmana
21/4/2020 08:24 | On breakeven, a few quote from the recent interim results: 'Following this restructuring directors now expect the company to be cash flow positive on a month on month basis within the short term.' Also, 60% cost reduction to £3m should happen in the short term but it looks like further reductions will be found. From the results: 'By June 2021 the monthly cost base is forecast to equate to £2.4m per annum.' | mcfly79
21/4/2020 08:21 | Expect the 1p placing chaps to soon start dumping | iamgreat1
21/4/2020 08:03 | I have been in this for a while and lost so much money but I do rate this new guy. He's done a big clear out of the old team and focused on making money, overheads cut from £8m to £3m!. GFIN will be profitable by Q1 next year. If this listed now it would command a valuation of £100m imho. Hold on and buy the dips if there are any. | czar
21/4/2020 08:00 | thanks jungmana, will hold fire unless an obvious trading opportunity again until they can show real traction.....IMO this was built around events people paid to go to to WATCH e-sports, that has gone now, so monetising the actual online stuff will / may prove much harder, otherwise why wouldn't they have achieved that previously....let's see....DYOR | qs99
21/4/2020 07:58 | I think will be at least 1 year from now before the company can be self funding | jungmana
21/4/2020 07:55 | Good question. Last placing just 6 months back was at 4p.This one at 1p and imo another one will be coming in the summer. | jungmana
21/4/2020 07:52 | My question to the board is how long will this placing money last before this thing ever kicks off material revenues? It is positioned as "the next big thing" but so far has destroyed shareholder value massively as the revenues just haven't appeared. Even in some of these RNSs the revenue capabilities are not clear? Have traded these successfully on momentum alone recently, but a longer term "investment" am unsure of so help required! Many thanks in advance | qs99
21/4/2020 07:50 | GM today to approve the placing. Should be a rubber stamp imo | jungmana
21/4/2020 07:19 | Not a bad three days here.. more great news! | lukehold
21/4/2020 07:07 | ANOTHER great deal, this new guy John Clarke is doing all the right things, slashed £5m off the overheads and is now going for deals that make cash! GFIN is going to be a BIG winner imho. Through leveraging Gfinity's partnership with Bidstack and Venatus, the website will also connect local publishers and large-scale brands with gamers and esports enthusiasts. The commercial solutions that will be offered include programmatic advertising, bespoke video and audio-based promotions and brand site takeovers, which will significantly increase the opportunity for additional revenues to be generated. John Clarke, CEO, Gfinity, said : "Growing our own community franchise is a strategic priority for Gfinity and this exciting new partnership with YaLLa represents a significant opportunity to expand our reach and tap into the passion that gamers in the Middle East have for all things related to esports. It is a market that is grossly underserved with high quality and entertaining local language content. Not anymore. We look forward to learning alongside the YaLLa team, expanding the esports fan base and creating a new and robust revenue stream for both parties." | czar

20/4/2020 14:34 | Bought a load of these at 12p as thought esports would be the next big thing but didn't work out so well! However looks like it may be at a turning point doubled my holding today for a lot less. Hopefully upwards from here | harrida5050
20/4/2020 11:36 | F1 views from last night at 700k now. The highlights video should be out later today. | mcfly79
