Not the best placing price but I guess the share price was 0.3p less than 2 weeks ago.

Well there's the anticipated fund raise.

I think this should take them through to break-even. They expect to be break-even in the short term.

I don't think this has been posted, but this wording was included in Going Concern section of the results that came out on Tuesday:

'Following this restructuring directors now expect the company to be cash flow positive on a month on month basis within the short term.'

And from today's announcement:

'the Company expects to be able to reduce its underlying operating cost base by 60 per cent, supporting its pathway to breakeven in the short term.'

Is BIDs going to 10 bag from lows like this did? Buyers and investors loading up. Watching with intent and hopefully back to the highs of 40p. The Corona crisis absolutely serves this stock well. Expecting so huge gaming partnerships to be announced.

No resentment here buddy. I wish everyone well and do hope the company and shareholders do well. Today's update although seems good on first resding, is very much what we've seen for the last 3 years. Like I said last night Clarke is currently sending the begging bowl around the city and they cannot get the deal over the line as punters are not willing to pay anywhere near the market price. In all honesty I do not blame them. In all likelihood the raise will be well below 1p. The price action post placing for the past 3 years has been farcical to say the least. If you cannot find any other stock to invest in on AIM and you want to throw your money down the drain then at least wait for sub 1p before pressing the electrocution button. Goodnight

Momentum 'Sold out before Xmas.' so likely resenting any further rise, perhaps?
Look everybody knows that things are very dangerous everywhere in shares just now, surely?
Even new people to shares?
I feel sorry for the little companies, too to be honest.
Perhaps neither you, nor I, know which ones will survive.
I never invest a lot in any of these small companies and have never encouraged others to do so.
These are difficult times.
I do hope GFIN survives though.

assuming they raise £2m at 1.5p = 133m placing shares or 28% of existing shs in issue of 480m

total approx 613m shs

From Dec 2014 they listed with 78m shs

so that is approx a 686% increase in no of shares since listing - typical AIM / LSE small cap company

He's "smashed" it off the costs as the sales weren't there... 2.5m will be gone in 3 months and we're in March already. Expect a placing

QS99 John Clarke has smashed £5,000,000 off costs, that's £5,000,000 onto the bottom line. This guy means business, I like him.

I take that as very good news, they were always going to run out of cash but £2m to extend the runway to get to profitability is excellent imho. This new guy really means business. All looking very very good now after years of misery.

OK that's interesting update, but only talks of "pathway to break even"....still jam tomorrow....let's see...momentum was with it, maybe this knowledge will provide some impetus, but for how long?

"The economy is in the midst of a period of significant uncertainty; therefore, the Group is not in a position to update financial guidance at this time.

The Group is currently in discussions to secure a further £2m of funding, which if completed will provide a further supplement to our year end cash position. The Group is aiming to announce further details as soon as possible"

Like I said the other day I cannot trust these fekers as far as I can throw them. Don't waste your money on this POS. Clarke's on a 6 figure salaray and will no doubt be getting ready to hand the cap around the city to secure his salaray for the next year. Cooky milked the salary and did sweet FA. Only winners are the directors and con job brokerage firms luring in naieve investors. Loss making and will be for the foreseeable future. Get out whilst you can, the rug is about to be pulled! You have all been warned!

People are just trading currently when they can.
I derisked some time back in most of my stocks.Have a few left but am selective about which ones I buy afresh....haven't as much time as I had either.
Good luck to you too.

hazl - Yep you got me! I was out at 1.4 and back in at 1. Out again at 2. Dont trust these delayed results and fed up with the constant placements. Also 2 key board members lost to save cost sounds desperate. Good luck if this does turn around if your holding, a lot of potential in these strange times!
