They’ve done a good job of weathering various storms. Could be a gem - you never know it could turn into a really good growth stock if they start signing up significant customers in the new markets they’re targeting, many of which are growing. Oil becoming much less important.

Getech Group plc

("Getech" or the "Company")

Signature of multi-year Globe licence

Getech, a provider of data, knowledge and software to the energy industry, is pleased to announce that it has secured a multi-year licence agreement for its Globe product with a national energy company.

The agreement follows completion of the customer's first year as a Globe user and adds GBP563,000 to Getech's current orderbook.

An additional option has also been agreed that enables the customer to purchase other Getech data modules, which would enhance and extend its use of Globe.

Jonathan Copus, Chief Executive Officer of Getech commented:

"Getech is committed to working in partnership with our customers so that our skills and technologies are closely aligned with their most pressing business needs. Through this approach Getech has demonstrated Globe's value to this new customer, who has then made a multi-year commitment to Getech's technology.

The key point is:

Date on which the threshold was crossed 30/12.

Sales on 31/12 probably one million so they hardly have any remaining now

We should see another RNS shortly confirming the above.

If Canaccord has been known to be wanting a sale for a while, perhaps that has been holding the shares back a bit. The sale does seem to have 'cleared' the share price a bit.

Funny looking chart - may only take a bit of evidence of recovery for a sharp move I think.

If anyone interested in other unloved recovery shares, there's also OMIP (potentially growth rather than recovery) and MCL (recovery if you're patient). I have stakes but don't recommend rushing in, they take a while to get your head around.

bb2, we are looking at a possible trend reversal. I have found that at this stage, the main targets are areas of prior support/resistance, gaps etc. Once a pattern develops, we can use that to calculate further targets.

The prior breakaway gap down dated 24/1/2020 was a result of a profit warning rns, and this zone of resistance measures 22.5-25 and is the primary target.

There are some other possible resistance points marked on the chart. In the near term we need to see the price trading above the 50 and 200 smas, these will then act as support.

A potential turn on 3/12/2020 is confirmed.

I will use the 1-2-3 trend change pattern to confirm the reversal. A golden cross is likely in January 2021.
