11/6/2008 11:22 | baht, I wish i had the power, he was ramping MRP everywhere so i think advfn removed all his posts...... Any buying seems to push the price higher, they absorb most of the sells very easily, it is now very tightly held.........imho | barrywhit
10/6/2008 17:07 | posted twice in error sorry all | baht
10/6/2008 17:02 | Barry - How do you do that? One min post 355 is there the next its history. There have been ocassions in the past when I would love to have been able to stop timewasters and worse on other BB's from ruining a discussion. As for the reason behind this continuing rise I think news of drilling or something similar must be close. Or could the Co be trying to increase the share price ahead of an equity participation deal of some type. The higher the current share price the less it costs the company to complete a deal. 20p to 60p since Feb something must be brewing. | baht
10/6/2008 12:24 | luigicox..........go ramp somewhere else........ | barrywhit
10/6/2008 11:58 | Market could just be playing catch up. There are a lot of oil stocks that are currently ignored but will catch alight once the penny drops. | joestalin

26/5/2008 09:38 | Baht Thanks for your insight I have held these shares since Pre Gpc days many years now and was thinking I had lost ALL my cash so I am very happy to say the least about any upward moves.Keep it going LOL... | ardluilord

24/5/2008 09:35 | been in for 6 months now, more confident than ever, and will hold for another 6 months at least. Made a big mistake with JKX and sold when around the same price as this one, now it's £5.25 a go! | sonicx
23/5/2008 20:19 | Ditto Barry & Baht ... only a matter of time. All the same, let the rise continue. | rookiem

23/5/2008 11:55 | Morning All, The good thing about this thread is we haven't got the nutters appearing yet... i'm sure they will arrive though.... | barrywhit
23/5/2008 11:00 | Whenever a small oil co share price goes up, there is always the suspicion that someone 'knows something' and it is usually true to a greater or lesser extent. We, ourselves, 'know something' or we would not invest in it and would not make a profit. As for 'keeping it quiet', they are obliged under SE rules to announce anything that materially alters the share price So maybe there is something due and will appear when those 'in the know' have piled in. | joestalin
23/5/2008 10:54 | Ardluilord This has risen about 75% since April 1st, so they are not doing very well at keeping it quiet, but if there is good news around the corner they are lucky that not many people seem to have picked up on the share price movement here. Usually such increases cause far more comment and speculation on the BB's that has been the case this time. This co seems to be well positioned in terms of spread of licenses and I especially like the fact that they have several interests in the Norwegian part of the North Sea as this appears to be less developed/explored than the GB part. I also believe that the Norwegian Gov pick up part of the exploration costs for Norwegian companies but I don't know if Genesis qualifies. Drilling is due to start H2 so that could be as soon as 5 weeks away. If they have a strike I wonder how much of the possible future share price rise is being anticipated in the current push north? | baht
23/5/2008 09:39 | late buyer last night and some more buying this morning does someone know something and trying to keep it quiet | ardluilord
21/5/2008 12:25 | Joe, Just a guess, preconsolidation value that's all........but we do have buyers out there waiting......imo | barrywhit
21/5/2008 12:13 | Picking up again which is good to see. You think 90p realistic, bw? | joestalin
21/5/2008 12:02 | Morning All... Still looking pretty strong........ | barrywhit |
