06/3/2008 16:50 | I've been a holder of these for some time now. Glad to see some movement. There is very little free float so these will rise quickly. Anyone getting in early tomorrow at these prices will do well as they are increasing with almost every buy. We will see 45p tomorrow | geoff hind
06/3/2008 16:48 | Welcome cecky.......you'll double your money here within the next few weeks imo, so put your feet up and enjoy the ride! | wookie77
06/3/2008 16:48 | Jim, This one would be a good start for a first drill: In the results of the UK 24th Round of Licencing announced by the DTI on the 1st February 2007, Genesis Europe was awarded a 100% interest and operatorship of Block 16/8c. This award constitutes the first block acquired by Genesis Europe. The award was for a Traditional Licence. Block 16/8c is located in the central/northern part of the North Sea bordering the UK/Norwegian median line. The field is surrounded by numerous oilfields with the Brae/Miller/Kingfish The block contains an undeveloped oil and gas accumulation, discovered by well 16/8c-13, drilled by Marathon Oil in 1993. The well, although untested, encountered oil in at least two intervals in the Upper Jurassic Brae sands that are equivalent in age to the reservoir interval for the adjacent Brae/Miller/Kingfish The work programme to be carried out over the next two years, includes the acquisition of new 3D seismic data, and is designed to evaluate the extent of the suspended 16/8c-13 discovery, and also to identify additional potential at Upper Jurassic levels. The new data will be integrated with older seismic and processed Multi Azimuth to extract as much information as possible. This licence is an important arena for Genesis' cooperation with PGS in developing and testing new technologies. Genesis Europe recognises additional potential at shallower stratigraphic levels. | barrywhit
06/3/2008 16:42 | hello all, i just jumped ship, so to speak, from sey where things are really dire. never heard of GPC til about half an hour ago when someone gave a tip, a quick read, a look at my trading statement and here i am... in for a very small 2897 shares at a disgraceful 35p...so im in at the top end but im hopeful of getting it back at some stage, maybe even tomorrow all being well, oh and i havnt deserted SEY, im still bogged down in their quagmire of their own making. this share is well down from its previous highs, so i guess some of you are looking at significant losses, just like many of the guys on the SEY bb, i really hope we all do well over the next few years, weeks, days. good luck all... | ceckyspunt

06/3/2008 13:33 | added, ticked it up a bit more; getting interesting, sniffing much fresher air; results soon (9mar last year) just as a reminder: it's got a fair collection of assets in the N. Sea note the significant shareholdings: - PGS 29% - Aker 30% - management 15% - Lehman Bros 6% - Arctic Securities 6% ...leaving just 14% free float - so it can move quickly ...and I am hoping for just that, since Ventor sold out (to Arctic) in mid-Feb oh, and the long-term (since Nov04) semi-log falling R has also been broken upwards (at 6th attempt - ie. quite well defined) | mikehardman
06/3/2008 13:30 | Looks like we may have attracted the "T" traders over the last couple of days, lets just hope the nutters don't start to appear.....no advice intended...lol | barrywhit
