08/2/2018 10:05 | A few months ago we could only dream of $65 oil. Its an excellent price compared to last year. | cyan
08/2/2018 10:03 | Oil declining to 65+ is probably not helping either. | losses
08/2/2018 09:53 | Cyan yes that was my thinking too. Those multiple zones could turn out to be very profitable. At some point this year GENLs cash position may well be equal to its market cap! | nicksig
08/2/2018 09:51 | Good morning Losses. Good question, like why is UKOG still so highly valued when their latest drill has only produced 2 jugs of oil in 4 months? We do not have a 'fan' club buying | cyan
08/2/2018 09:48 | Why have we gone down on that news?? | losses
08/2/2018 09:43 | Good morning nicksig; I would say 50K per day is a reasonable target as this report highlights the ten oil zones averaged 5,340 barrels per day EACH. DNO Triples Production at Peshkabir Field by Andreas Exarheas|Rigzone Staff|Monday, December 11, 2017 Extract; "A total of 11 zones in a 1.2 kilometre horizontal section of Cretaceous and Jurassic reservoir in the Peshkabir-3 well were individually tested and flowed successfully, according to DNO, of which ten were oil zones and one a gas zone. The oil zones were said to have tested an average of 5,340 bopd per zone on a 64/64" choke, with the highest individual test rate coming in at 7,200 bopd." Brent stable at $65.71 | cyan
08/2/2018 08:53 | Just keep buying this will rerate at some time and we will ALL think 'why didnt I buy more'? Pesh is turning out to all that has been expected and more! | d1nga
08/2/2018 08:45 | Stonking news, yet this sh*t goes down!!! | kulvinder
08/2/2018 08:31 | Aggressive drilling programme and who knows with Pesh. Maybe 50k by end of year? | nicksig
08/2/2018 08:17 | The Company fast tracked the development of the Peshkabir field with two wells currently producing a total of 16,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) and commingled for export with another 97,000 bopd from the other DNO-operated field, Tawke, on the same license."We made the Peshkabir Cretaceous discovery early in 2017, initiated early production in June, tripled output by year's end and already have exported two million barrels with an estimated value of USD 100 million - more than twice the investment to date," said DNO's Executive Chairman Bijan Mossavar-Rahmani. "And we have only started to appraise and develop this field which continues to surprise to the upside," he added.A total of six Peshkabir wells will be drilled this year with field production expected to reach 30,000 bopd by summer and continue to ramp up in the second half of the year.At the Tawke field, plans are being finalized with partner Genel Energy plc to drill four wells in 2018, in addition to the currently drilling Tawke-48 well slated for completion by end-February. | newswseller
08/2/2018 07:09 | The DNO update is excellent as expected. Pesh is massive | nicksig
08/2/2018 07:06 | Genel notes that DNO, as operator of the Tawke PSC, has today issued the following update on licence activity. Two wells are currently producing 16,000 bopd at the Peshkabir field, which are commingled for export with another 97,000 bopd from the Tawke field, on the same license. | soho2
07/2/2018 20:50 | But but what does malcy say?? | carla1
07/2/2018 19:34 | Bring on the DNO update | nicksig
07/2/2018 10:40 | cojones There will be more dips in this stock the last rise had the many here getting their knickers wet that it was he big one besides I have now a core holding at lower than this and am trading some more. I am betting on the big rise will not be ntil after May election when an agreement is signed with Baghdad for the budget contribution. I have been trying for months to get people to acually reply to this with a counter argument as I am not stupid enough to believe I am right on everything unlike a few here, but all I was getting was rampers getting upset that I wasn't agreeing we were going to infinity and beyond on every rise, until I filtered them, you are not saying this will not fall again are you? If so give your reasoning why it won't. | pogue
07/2/2018 08:34 | Maybe so pogue but if the markets are going through a correction which was anticipated by the many, then this is an opportunity that doesnt arrive everyday!Wouldnt wait too long to buy on the dip ;)) | cojones
06/2/2018 21:26 | Baghdad is not going to agree anything until after May election until then they will play to their core Shi’a voters and play hardball with Sunni Kurds. Price is random not worth predicting buy on the dips sell on highs. | pogue
06/2/2018 20:18 | I have never seen a day like it on the DOW | nicksig
06/2/2018 20:17 | So we have DNO results in a couple of days. Hopefully they will be throwing money around to up production on Tawke and Pesh and have the Pesh 3 test results. Also have some news on Pesh 4 which has surely spudded by now. Payment likely next week and a few weeks to our results and presentation. We said we would spend 40$ max on Bini and Miran so the clock is ticking. Perhaps we could do this without a partner. There is a hell of a lot of profit (100% for the oil) before we pay anything. The mutterings from Bagdad haven't changed just the whole world says play nicely and Bagdad being unreasonable (according to IMF). With a decent wind we could end up 120-125 by the end of the week and then push on from there. Any thoughts ??? Hawkey | hawkey2 |
