The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Genel Energy plc holds 155,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 280,093,198 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares), of which 246,554,897 are voting ordinary shares and 33,538,301 are suspended voting ordinary shares.

its not a wast of money when the companys market value is cheap..

look at bowleven they had a share buyback and the price has gone up 20%


its omly a waste of money if you bought it at higher prices.

Yes, sorry. Korruptistan, my mistake. That shyster Maliki didnt help, nor Badai which merely sees the status quo maintained vis payments.ICG still havent paid KRG their conastitutionally due 17% of budget.(and werent paying that rate long before Kurds exported oIl indeopendently)

They're all untrustworthy in that region imo.
