25/1/2017 19:54 | 20% discount to years out from payment isn't great, especially when you've got 400m bucks in cash | mr roper
25/1/2017 19:34 | Is anyone on here clever enough to post a graph that shows the Genl Bond price against the Genl Share price for say the last two years? Thanks in advance. | kulvinder
25/1/2017 19:24 | yes - i saw that as well. The bondholders dont seem worried. | utrecht_00
25/1/2017 17:55 | There's not much of a discount on the bonds which is odd, just the equity getting a shafting.. Usually the pair go hand in hand, especially since the bonds are unsecured | newswseller
25/1/2017 17:12 | i'd like to see genel take anther run at repurchasing some of the bonds for less than face value, when they did it before not a lot of bond holders wanted to sell which is i suppose a positive. | utrecht_00
25/1/2017 16:54 | How do you know they were buys?? I don't know why people keep doing that!!!If they were and some yesterday after hours then why has the share price tanked again?? | losses
25/1/2017 16:47 | Massive buys at the end 412k late reported and 153k | ozzmosiz
25/1/2017 15:57 | news PVR is in a different league to COPL yes i lost out but was still worth the punt with Exon drilling. PVR is not really a punt as they have lots of irons in the fire. and a large institutional backing. WJ. | w1ndjammer
25/1/2017 15:20 | WJ sounds like COPl that u were urging folks to buy, how'd that duster work out ? | newswseller
25/1/2017 15:19 | Robbie, some of the bonds have already been repurchased by the company, this is well documented The PSC is very complicated. It's not as simple of saying a barrel sells for $50 so genel get $50Say it sells for $50 Genel get their costs paid, for simplicity let's say this is $10This leaves $40, the KRG take 88% of this, Genel gets 12% (need to check the PSC for exact number) and then there are KRG Building LevyS to pay ontop So you can see GENEL only get $14.80 per barrel using the crude example above | newswseller
25/1/2017 14:53 | Just checked it in the Financial Bonds Database - 14/05/2019 USD 730 7.5% Norway NO0010710882 Genel have repeatedly said in press releases that they can break even at $20pb Now you check your sources... | robbiekeane
25/1/2017 14:44 | bought more PVR today had to pay top draw looks like no stock, that one is going to blow big time soon, Drilling for 5 billion barrels in June biggest spud in the world this year, surrounded by super majors offshore Ireland. 24p whats not to like WJ. | w1ndjammer
25/1/2017 14:37 | Robbiekeane - I come out with a similar calc to your above using my simple logic, so that is why it so important that they get paid on a regular basis and on time - then surely we see a better share price then that of today??? Newswseller - please enlighten as further, so we get a better understanding. | kulvinder
25/1/2017 14:34 | Your maths is completely wrong on all fronts.. Recheck the bond amount, reread the payment RNSs, unless you know the details of the PSC you can't even work out the amount they (genel) are receiving per barrel | newswseller
25/1/2017 14:27 | So as at 31/12/16 net debt was circa $240m. Bond $730m repayable 14/5/19 Cash at Bank $408 Last year the KRG repaid $30m towards recovery of historical receivables Output bpd forecasted to reduce from 53k to between 35 and 43k Net Profit per barrel circa $30 (at price of $50) At 35k bpd x $30 x 330 (ave. no. of up days) = $346,500,000 net profit pa using conservative valuations. I would say that given a slightly more favourable political climate this year the Company should easily be able to service it's debt. But - it's Kurdistan - anything can happen and that's speculative investing for you. I am down over 90% on this stock so please do not take any of the above as investing advice lol.... | robbiekeane
25/1/2017 13:15 | Never heard of it wantmore-sounds a bit dodgy given the name. | cumnor
25/1/2017 13:12 | CUMNOR are you in Equator Exploration?? | wantmorethan24p
25/1/2017 12:54 | Same goes for me. I just find it bizarre why someone focuses so much time for a company they don't like. | ozzmosiz
25/1/2017 12:51 | Least it's focussed on the co and the region. If you don't like the filter is there to be used | mr roper
25/1/2017 11:45 | MrR, I am not sure your repetitive rhetoric is also sensible, but hey, there you go. | ozzmosiz
