16/4/2020 06:21 | In reply to chickendinner spamming the NCYT board with numbers posts -Genedrive is releasing 2 tests, the first as announced end of March they'd started development and it should be ready end of May and that requires equipment much like NCYT's. NCYt is selling out, is only one of two tests with WHO validation. They're also making a faster test with no reagents for May which ties in with Uninof Cambridge, AZN and is doing 30,000 tests a day so 1m a month. For me and many others I imagine the second test GDR is the most interesting but how long will this take to be released as I assume they haven't started (read the RNS) and this will take longer than the first. If this is released after AVCT they'll lose market share given the simplicity of that product and the user can use on their own at home unlike GDR's which needs administering. Plus AVCT has a multi billion pound partner which GDR doesn't. That said if this carries on and a second wave comes demand will be there but if there's a cheaper and simpler alternative that can be mass produced it might be too late. From the RNS A second test will also be developed by the Company where it will adapt its formulations to run on the Genedrive(R) instrument platform to provide a rapid point-of-care SARS-COV-2 test to allow testing outside of the main hospital environment in places such as clinics, intensive care units, or where rapid and accurate testing for SARS-COV-2 might be required. The rationale for the two-stage development is that the testing, logistics, validation, and trial work to provide testing on a turnkey instrument system like Genedrive(R) takes additional time compared to an agnostic assay format. | tickboo
16/4/2020 06:02 | I think the Germans have the right idea extending lockdown... With Italy & Spain looking to relax rules I'd say they are inline for a 2nd wave of this unfortunately. Testing and isolating are the only ways to kill this off IMHO | georgie pie
15/4/2020 23:11 | No guarantee on Genedrives or Avacta meeting their timescales. I think both will as unlike NCYT, they have a helping hand from the UK government. Plenty market share for both if UK government don't buy their tests then there will be plenty other global buyers. Germany has a different strategy to UK, France, Italy and Spain. Germany may get a second wave but they are hunting this down with testing and the other big European countries are taking this on the very sore chin. The NHS is short of PPE, the world is short of tests. It's time for these companies to deliver for long suffering shareholders and to save people's lives and take the fight to this wee simple beastie | zuludave77
15/4/2020 21:24 | GDR is going to be massive. Nothing out there comes close. DYOR.. | chickndinner

15/4/2020 08:46 | punters paying over offer, tick up coming I feel | georgie pie
15/4/2020 08:24 | 83p will be breached again all the way to 90 is my guess, the original 8 week timeline was from 25th March so 3 weeks already gone and id say a week or slightly more will be shaved off the timline due to pressure to get this test kit to market. What is fair value here? depends who you ask but current Mcap even with current rise is low.. £1.50 -£2.00 is more like it. Billions of these kits will be needed imho | georgie pie
15/4/2020 07:52 | I sold NCYT yesterday and jumped in here. Lots of attraction on risk v reward here. | ostrading2
