TPI...didn't you sell NCYT at a loss then buy back in again at 440 last week having sold SNG at a small profit?

The Patient

I've read them and I've listened to the interview with the CEO who stated that they weren't making money on the tests.

In addition, when a company is up against the wall, desperate to get components and source new suppliers in a bid to cope with increased demand and fulfil orders in a timely manner, their negotiating becomes weak, they're on the back foot and they pay more than they should. It's a shame really, a victim of their own success in one sense but that's because their initial forecast and commercial strategy to provide infrastructure has been lacking.

NCYT has been a stonking investment for those who believed in it from the start and even mid way through but for me, it's now 'toppy'. The price chart suggests a 250p to 300p target over the coming weeks.

It's just a personal opinion and I hope it does better than that for those invested. I only mention it as you keep bringing NCYT up on the GDR thread.

The reality is that there will be a need for billions of tests globally and room for many providers but clearly you feel threatened by GDR, hence your input here, which also suggests you're over leveraged there too.

If you weren't concerned at all about GDR, who you keep intimating is no competition for NCYT, you wouldn't feel the need to keep posting here in the way that you are.

Neither company will be competing absolutely because there's room for many test producers, so plenty of space to fill the demand by numerous providers.

Perhaps it's time to consider taking your profit over there before someone else takes your profit from you, which is I guess what you're worried about. It must be that you fear investors will sell there to invest here. That's not necessarily the case , they may invest in both or others in addition.

One of the advantages of GDR is having a well financed and well staffed partner, such as Cytiva.

It saves all of the cost issues and lack of profit that NCYT are experiencing, despite all of their hard work.

NCYT have no profit today at all and not for a very long while.

Even the CEO stated that about the tests they're producing.

On top of that they're having to source new premises and new suppliers, it's a money pit, mainly because they're having to manage the logistics themselves.

Busy fool syndrome.

All that work at NCYT and no profit to show for it.

It's not looking like 'jam tomorrow at NCYT, it's looking like 'jam never'.

That's why GDR having a partner like Cytiva/GE healthcare is the way to go, to do all the heavy lifting, and with the financial capacity to get distribution up and running swiftly and globally, a multi £ Billion set up with 7,000 staff in 40 countries.

Put your little green eyes away, you only keep getting yourself all worked up and you may end up just being admitted as 'The Patient'.

All things considered this is a relatively nice virus for a pandemic, could of been a much higher death rate. Doesn't make it any easier. Hopefully governments will learn the lessons here!.

The majority of us stick to what is safe and healthy to consume. And I don't put it down to poverty. There's an abundance of chicken in these countries. Unfortunately folk aren't educated not to ewt bat's, snakes, bears gall bladders etc etc. This is an opportunity for a clamp down.

Perhaps people should stop eating bat's and other infection carrying animals? If it did originate from one of China's wet markets they have a lot to answer for.

Who press conference last 5 minutes the Dr kept talking about continuous testing to avoid escalation. Lifting lockdown does not mean the end of Covid-19. There will be huge market for tests next 6-12 months.

Does anyone think the second test is being worked on or all resources on the first due in 5 weeks or so? They hadn't started on it from what the end of March RNS said and no mention today so I wonder if they'll crack on once test 1 is sorted.
