09/2/2023 10:48 | Looking like a seller is cleared. Very odd that no shares have been brought back so hoping they add the $10m to the final dividend. | saracen3
02/2/2023 17:04 | One of the reasons I hold so many is IHT relief, as it's listed on the LSE as an aim stock I'm pretty sure it will qualify. Solid buying this week, would be very nice to see 20p some time soon. | gill17
02/2/2023 10:02 | IHT relief. Some AIM shares held for 2 years are exempt from death duties. Does anyone know whether dual listed Gemfields qualifies ? | saracen3
31/1/2023 13:59 | It pays a lot of tax at the local level in Zambia and Mozambique. | caiman47
31/1/2023 11:24 | It's complicated: I am assuming they are a non-resident company and since none is derived from Guernsey, is it 0%? | farnesbarnes
31/1/2023 11:09 | Just a random question-if they are incorporated in Guernsey do they pay any Corporation tax on profits? | gill17
31/1/2023 11:06 | Liberum comment today. Gemfields (BUY, TP 27p) Best Faberge result yet - Faberge achieved lowest annual funding required in the past twelve months to $2m (2021:$3m and high of $23.65m in 2015). Total group revenues of $333m came inline with our estimates $334m (auction revenues previously been reported). Net cash of $104m was lower than our estimate $129m, as a result of higher than expected operating costs at Kagem and Montepuez and working cap build. $10m buyback approved in December, but doesn’t look like its started yet (waiting until after FY results? We expect a big divi with FY results (24th March) – we have 2c per share final Valuation – current market cap $254m. Strip out £104m net cash, and it’s a nice round $150m EV for we think $88m EBITDA in 23e, and $122m in 24e (second wash plant at Montepuez kicks in). So 1.7x 23e EBITDA and 1.2x 24e EBITDA. Or 11% / 13% divi yield | saracen3
31/1/2023 10:44 | Should be a meaty dividend coming next month | justiceforthemany
31/1/2023 10:44 | Net cash more than 100 million. | justiceforthemany
31/1/2023 07:44 | TIDMGEM RNS Number : 3271O Gemfields Group Limited 31 January 2023 Incorporated in Guernsey. Guernsey registration Number: 47656. | lyceeuk
27/1/2023 08:21 | Buy back started ? 481k bought at 350c in SA should underpin the share price. | saracen3
26/1/2023 09:46 | Results and dividend due end March and am hoping the Co will more more active in Investor Relations at last and arrange an Institutional roadshow. Cash equals the share price so 2 world class mines, Faberge and stake in Sedibelo Platinum in for nothing. | saracen3
26/1/2023 09:39 | I've added at £17.04, seems a shame to miss a buying opportunity. | gill17
25/1/2023 19:48 | The market is waiting for the Co to fulfill its pledge to start buying back 50m shares. | saracen3
25/1/2023 19:32 | Crikey - a sensible post on a BB | davr0s
25/1/2023 16:44 | Stocks doing what stocks do. Very average volume so nothing to be overly concerned about. It's not like it should be anywhere near anyone's stop. | farnesbarnes
25/1/2023 15:47 | Surprising sell off here. Reason? | justiceforthemany
19/1/2023 16:18 | P/E just FOUR Dividend >11% Good balance sheet | justiceforthemany
18/1/2023 13:03 | The final dividend will be announced in March likely 2.2cents | saracen3
18/1/2023 12:55 | Sorry, Saracen. One more question. How do you get to a 14% dividend yield? The interim dividend in Sept was usdc1.26, or roughly 1p. | divmad
17/1/2023 09:29 | Looking like staff option seller in S Africa may have finished. Then Gemfields can start to buy their shares back. | saracen3
16/1/2023 07:49 | CEO has 12 million shares. | saracen3
16/1/2023 07:27 | Does management have any skin in the game? | divmad
15/1/2023 12:02 | Walletinvestor has increased its 12 month target to 483c or 24p | saracen3
15/1/2023 11:58 | Gemfields have not bought back any shares in the 3 weeks since they announced the start of the program. Only stock sold has been staff options and I guess they don't want to be accused of helping staff. Would expect purchases soon. 14 % dividend yield and results only 10 weeks away. | saracen3 |
