I don't understand why this is such a bad business. I bought them at £1.30 a few years ago and they have relentlessly dropped.
I bought some more at about 40p last year, watched them climb quickly to 60p and now what happened to take them down to 18p when all the brokers had targets of about £1

Looks good timing to me, sadly bought in too soon myself some months back but still a decent average now...see high end jewelry has been selling well and with inflation and interest rates likely having about peaked and operating costs likely decreasing a bit now it looks the time to buy...could be huge rewards here on the rebound...gl

Personally have been adding a few at 18.5p or less levels, diamond market will turn in 2nd half of the year imo...now is the time to be buying....gla...

It's purely a punt at present, diamond prices generally still declining but I believe we are close to a turn around now looking forward this could well look a gift imo

Why would I buy GEMD when I have Petra at PE of 2…? If they pulled it down to 26m (suspicious market capitalisation), how do you know if another, say 5m won’t be taken out? Of course my reasoning may be wrong.- it’s certainly worth a punt at such levels but not all of it… I might put my bet on it if it drops even lower.

Can't be too long until H1 results, early to mid Aug I believe, there is usually a bit of buying on the run up to results, won't be particularly pretty but thinking to H2, things will likely be much rosier, hence the buying yesterday? This should not be lower than 30p to 40p imo, dyor etc

You'd like to think no fund raise at these prices but who knows.

Hopefully that yellow diamond can alleviate any short term cash flow worried, it must be worth several million? The share price here is always a mystery but at current price it looks like the markets is betting on major cash flow issues ... I'm always surprised someone doesn't come and buy it on the cheap.

The entire market is selling off, I think people are just thinking buy safe short gilts for 5.5% yield and buy equities later. There's likely some bargains for the brave but more pain before the worm turns.
