Close at 632p is an all time high Previous closing high 626p on 26th August 2018 Good volume today which is always a positive sign in an upward move. Looking forward to the full earnings release on the 26th in particular comments on current business, forecast and outlook, it would be nice to gain a few major new customers. Sentiment good, momentum strong ....we shall see S

MMs as usual. Don't worry it normal for GBG, I've never found a reason for any of the major drops over the years. Check the posts against the graph drops and you'll see what I mean.

It's volatile. It goes up and down. Sometimes for no apparent reason. Buying opportunity?

It doesn’t make sense, the trading statement was so good and they were positive about future growth.

FWIW The Herald trust is recommended by the Sunday Times this morning and GBG is mentioned as a major holding hTtps://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/herald-investment-trust-twj2mg557?shareToken=64b2c9d60d431b5b15465900433b180f S

from Citywire this morning, the Numis verdict Peel Hunt: GB Group warrants a bigger premium Data identity specialist GB Group (GBG) is expecting a huge leap in revenues this year and Peel Hunt believes it should trade at a premium to peers. Analyst Damindu Jayaweera reiterated his ‘buy’ recommendation and target price of 626p on the stock after a ‘blistering performance’ in the first half, with the group expecting a 64% revenue rise in the full year. The shares jumped 14.2% to 602p on the news. Jayaweera said that while the macroeconomic environment was uncertain ‘there is no double GB Group’s traction is impressive’. ‘The opportunity in solving the trust conundrum for the companies in search of the right balance between security and user experience has never been stronger,’ he said. ‘We reiterate our “buy” rating and believe the company should trade at a premium to the broader data-driven business peer group.’

Very positive write-up in The Times today :-) Key are 2 analysts, Jeffries and Numis making very upbeat comments on future growth prospects. Hope this link works for non subscribers , it’s in the ‘market report’ section hTtps://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/rolls-royce-s-engine-faults-mean-it-may-have-to-refuel-3d9lrphfp?shareToken=bd162f539fcdd36675783953b1b8c296 S

We could go well see an share price of over 600p today. I think Peel Hunt may give a revised target price of nearer 700p after today's figures that were announced.

The repayment of the debt in cash terms looks to be significant. In view of the fact that GBG’s markets are expanding exponentially with the seeming never ending opportunities for fraud and ID theft, the cash generation is impressive, so I guess when they see further expansion/ acquisitions they will after DD take those opportunities. A fabulous GROWTH story, with rock solid management :-) S
