31/7/2019 00:12 | think you mean tailwind :) | tudes100
30/7/2019 09:17 | Given that the recent acquisitions of IDology and VIX will be earning revenues in $$ , the recent and probably sustained fall in the £ , will create a nice currency tailwind for GBG. Current analyst estimates for those 2 entities will be based on historical revenues, given the depreciation of the £ , those earnings will be significantly HIGHER ( 5-10%) than currently baked into forecasts, each $ earning more sterling Provided GBG can maintain the CORE ORGANIC growth that the AGM statement more or less confirms “Moving on to 2019-20, I am pleased to report that we have made a good start to the year with revenue and profit performance in line with management's expectations. The first quarter has seen growth in both organic revenue and adjusted operating profit. The Group's balance sheet remains strong with solid cash conversion, which has enabled us to pay down a further GBP10m of debt in the period.” In summary, given organic AND acquisition growth could well be better than expected with recent customer wins and now the prospect of a significant currency effect, I fully expect GBG to beat expectations when they issue the next trading update....probably in October. In the meantime the Chart is looking very sweet indeed :-) S | sweenoid
25/7/2019 07:49 | Fabulous AGM statement Very positive outlook, list of NEW clients in all 3 divisions - location, identity and fraud :-) Paid back £10 million in debt in the quarter showing cash generation is excellent. Margins good Acquisitions bedded in nicely Perhaps summed up best by this statement “ We operate within significant, long-term growth markets and are confident that we continue to be well placed - both technically and geographically - to take advantage of these opportunities. As a result, the Board expects that this will be another successful year.” That’s good enough for me- a super British company, providing for growth markets that are going to continue growing - as the CEO comments “fraud is a growth business worldwide and we provide the solutions” :-) S | sweenoid
