I take your point 2mex, I admit I was unaware that there would be further regulatory hurdles to overcome after the award of the Parx licence, and , therefore, a slightly premature moment to release an RNS. That said however, given the importance of Pennsylvania to GAN and the effect of the long delay in being able to book revenue from Parx, a " we are delighted to announce ....." update would be well received by the market once those final obstacles are removed.

I am not expecting a RNS from GAN. We already know they are partnered with Parx. The award of sports betting licence for Parx to operate is significant to GAN and significant to other states as an example. Its great news for GAN but we receive that news the same way as GAN receives it. GAN would not be expected to relay the good news surely?

This forum is has turned into a total ramp fest, anything of any significance will be announced in a RNS. 90% of posts are totally unnecessary.

Seems there are a few regulatory hurdles to jump through before we commence operations in Pennsylvania From Penn Live:Pennsylvania edged a little closer to "Pennsyl-vegas" status Wednesday as the state's Gaming Control Board awarded the first two sports betting certificates to casinos in the midstate and the Philadelphia area. There are still a few regulatory steps to be taken before the betting windows open and big-screen TV's go on at Hollywood Casino near Grantville, or Parx Casino in Bucks County. But barring any unexpected problems, both operations expect to launch on-site sports betting later this fall, with online and mobile options to follow in the future.

Wrt Pennsylvania news and GANs involvement , also worth noting:

New Jersey betting figures:

July : $40m
Aug : $95m
Sept : Prediction c$300m

Pennsylvania's population of 12.8m is +42% larger than New Jersey's population of 8.9m.

Sports betting in USA (Football)

based on gambling within USA

"American Gaming Association: "Of the projected $95 billion that will be gambled on football throughout the 2015 season, nearly $93 billion will be gambled illegally"

Based on USA's 325 million population that's an estimated average of $292 per person.

Population of Pennsylvania is 12.79 million. Also bear in mind people commute across border to work or make trip across border to place bets so 12.79 million is minimum.

Based on an average $292 per person:

Projecting the stats above (and based only on football bets) 12.79m x $292 = $3.7B

Divide that between Parx and Penn National: $1.85B each

At 10% profit that's $185million. 10% of rake to GAN = $18.5million per year recurring (now add all the other sports that are bet on)

Its not jam tomorrow, its a gravy train.

The unanimous decision sends a strong message to other states who are considering.

So Parx got the go ahead and looking at November launch. Will that allow GAN to book revenue into this year I wonder.Either way, all looking positive far as I'm concerned just wait for something on patent licensing
