18/9/2018 22:48 | Extremely positive and detailed statement if people (investors who dump their shares on a TU without looking at the facts commonly regret it) care to read it properly. I expected (and indeed hoped for so I can continue to build a stake) nothing from 2018-it is 2019 and forward which is why I am here and exponential growth looks possible if a few of the many irons Gan has fall into place. Is there anything ambiguous about the below extract....? 'By way of outlook on 2019, the recent launch of Internet sports betting, the Company's current sales pipeline and existing contracted clients are projected to propel GAN to record revenues, revenue growth, and EBITDA.' | cumnor
18/9/2018 19:19 | Advfn showing price as 64 and HL showing as 57. Why such a gap? | ksavani1
18/9/2018 18:58 | Seems to me that 2018 is transitional with 2019 being transformational for GAN so my expectations are for moderate growth across the existing client base and progress in hooking up the real money clients asap. However, as far as 2018 goes, the comments that the company opens today's trading statement with seem to offer quite a lot of room for surprise to the upside."The outlook for the second half year period and full calendar year 2018 is contingent on (a) the market size, share and growth rate of Internet sports gambling in New Jersey"See part July vs August numbers for the genesis of this. Most of it is ex sports season so clearly that is the main driver of revenues and September is guaranteed to be significantly bigger than August. Also speaks later on of how quickly PPBF phase marketing via Fanduel. I'd suggest they clearly won't be messing about. They are as good at marketing as anyone and are a first mover."(b) the timing with which Pennsylvania's regulator the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board ("PGCB") permits the launch of Internet real money gambling for residents of the State of Pennsylvania;"Later on they indicate clearly that fees based on Parx starting will fall into 2019 recognised revenue but this seems to leave the door open. It doesn't much matter but as Greenbrier asked for an expeditious decision they may yet get one. If they do then straight on we go."(c) the speed with which efficient marketing of the Overseas Internet Casino is conducted in European regulated markets by GAN"Can't speak to this bit with great foresight but presumably they have the capability to be efficient now they have a full service digital marketing team in Israel and $10m to push on with.Just a few thoughts! | noujay
18/9/2018 18:47 | 2019 appears to be going to be a good year. I'm quite optimistic about H218. The outlook for the second half year period and full calendar year 2018 is contingent on (a) the market size, share and growth rate of Internet sports gambling in New Jersey; (b) the timing with which Pennsylvania's regulator the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board ("PGCB") permits the launch of Internet real money gambling for residents of the State of Pennsylvania; and (c) the speed with which efficient marketing of the Overseas Internet Casino is conducted in European regulated markets by GAN. wrt (a) they state in the RNS 'Internet sports betting's growth since launch on September 1, 2018 has exceeded initial expectations in the first 17 day operating period.' In the last week Dermot Smurfit IMO has been more bullish. "Online sports betting appears to be as substantial an opportunity as forecasts suggested," said Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GAN plc, a gambling technology provider that, alongside SG Digital, powers FanDuel's online sportsbook in New Jersey. "Unlike internet gaming forecasts back in 2013, this time the forecasters look to have got things right. Online sports betting revenue will likely equal or eclipse retail sports betting revenue in September." | cottoner
18/9/2018 17:44 | Itinvestor..When you pay for Advfn I will take note of your comments!! lol..what is the connection ?..or in very simple terms..how does paying for Advfn make someone's comment any more or less valid?.(must be missing something here;)..) | thefartingcommie
18/9/2018 17:36 | The SCSW recommendation is effusive in its praise for GAN. They believe and indeed the market appears to believe that 2019 will be the year for GAN and there's lots to aim for in between now and next year Not holding yet, simply waiting for things to really hot up on the trading front | gersemi
18/9/2018 17:35 | I suspect they may be holding off in anticipation of a response. | busterdog2
18/9/2018 17:33 | TFC.I am not a subscriber and am certainly not pushing the publication. My credibility? When you pay for Advfn I will take note of your comments!! | ltinvestor
18/9/2018 17:30 | Not sure about the tip sheets but this is very clearly on the right path for me. A few get spooked when something gets pushed back but if you read it all through there's nothing materially changed beyond Penn go-live timeframe. The prep is already done by the sound of it. Greenbrier have appealed for a swift return of their application to the gaming board - which they may get in which case it's all ready to go.Surprised they haven't mentioned the patent in this update and not sure why they are holding that off until interims. | noujay |
