It is difficult, but the one relating to Winstar marketing is in the hands of GAN and their expertise now that the funding commitment is secured.As to Penn. Next PGCB meeting is week after next with another later in October and I'm guessing one of those will see the approval of internet gaming for Greenwood.That's the big one since GAN are running social, real money casino, sports book and poker for them.

Sports betting in New Jersey launched in mid-June, and bettors wagered around $40 million during the first full month of operation. That number ballooned to $95 million in August, with preseason football driving an above-average percentage of the action.

Although young and subject to growing pains, the roots of NJ sports betting are beginning to take hold. There are now eight retail sportsbooks in the state and another eight online/mobile platforms up and running, and revenue is trending sharply upward.

Considering the current wind in NJ’s sails, the September numbers could end up being phenomenal. Set the over/under for handle at $300 million, with plenty of headroom remaining in the market. Gaming consultancy Eilers & Krejcik projects an NJ/NV flip-flop atop the standings by 2021.

New Jersey is driving on Nevada, but we won’t know how deep it has marched into nine-figure territory for a couple more weeks.

Union Gaming weighs in on the decision by MGM Resorts (MGM -0.2%) to acquire the operating assets of the Hard Rock Rocksino from MGM Growth Properties (MGP -0.7%) to give it an entry into Ohio.

"The Rocksino asset gives MGM access to a new market, which provides optionality for sports betting if/when it is authorized in Ohio. It also represents a new market for MGM from a database perspective," notes analyst John DeCree.

As for MGM Growth Properties, DeCree says because the market expected the deal no change to valuation is warranted.

Union Gaming has Buy ratings on both MGM and MGP."

They are both listed as being on the 19th on the trades page of AFN and not showing on the 18th.

Not that it matters, just interested that if you are right, the MM's can hold reporting trades for over 24 hours.

My bet is on some delayed buy trades being posted after the market closes which would account for the offer price rising.

I see my bet was partially right. Not many delayed trades, just one of 25k, bought at 59.75p at 15.05 and posted after hours.

With everything due to come in this H2 and next year, it's logical but somewhat short-termist to sell on a few doubts about the H2 turn-out due to a couple of minor delays on timing.

Particularly as one of the "contingent" issues is the take-up of Internet sports gambling in New Jersey, which looks like it has already stated extremely healthily.

Like others above, I'm quite happy for the share price to fall or consolidate at present as it'll give opportunities to top up as time goes on.

Interesting article below re Penn. GAN will be operating the Parx sports book (per 30th July RNS). October hearings.
