Seems to me rolling out Coolbet must be number 1 priority. It's ok being a big player in Chile or somewhere but you're not going to achieve a major payback in these smaller markets. Hoping for some big moves now we have bought the thing.

Interesting commentary from Davy Stockbrokers yesterday about the coming expansion of the Canadian gambling market:

"DAVY VIEW

The removal of a federal ban on single-game wagering in Canada paves the way for the addressable North American gambling market (TAM) to expand beyond the northern US border, potentially as early as this year. While legislation and regulation of gambling at the provincial level will ultimately determine the scale of the Canadian opportunity for our coverage universe, we indicatively believe that it represents >10% of our US mature TAM forecast (currently $30bn). It is also a reminder that the global regulated gambling market remains in its infancy, with significant potential to structurally expand going forward. At this early stage, we believe the competitive landscape will look similar to that in the US. Despite the already well-established unregulated landscape in the jurisdiction, Flutter, DraftKings and Entain all look well positioned to compete for, and claim, podium positions."

Interesting feature on the US online gaming industry, featuring DS.
Definitely worth a listen.

Sadly the fall is steeper than the rise. You can never second guess where the market will take a stock price.

I assume the deal means 7% of all retail slot games sold to US casinos in 2020 are in GAN's exclusive slot portfolio, i.e. no one else can offer them on line. Let's hope the games are some of the top most popular slot games in US casinos.

As a result of this long-term deal, GAN's combined exclusive online slot partners content represented approximately 7% of all slots sold in the U.S during 2020.
thought this was interesting - anyone hazard a guess as to what it means financially?

There was some guy called Brownie and he used to come on here ages ago, generally negative about GAN, but to his credit, I seem to think he did warn about SBTech and their dodgy business.

Another i.portat part in regard to dkng which is why I never would invest in them , that Hindenburg noted as well, they burn thru cash to buy customers. They model is proven to lose money. And oh yeah the only part of their business that makes money does it illegally. This will boost gan long term.

I'm not sure SBTech's shady operations is news, or at least it shouldn't be. I thought there were comments about that side of their business when DraftKings merged with it.

Today's weakness ironically caused by one of our rivals?Hindenburg Research is negative on DraftKings (NASDAQ:DKNG) as it warns that the company's merger with SBTech brings its exposure to extensive dealings in black-market gaming, money laundering and organized crime.

Yeah growth stocks usually get hit. Inflation numbers were higher than expected but market doesn't seem to care. Major indexes at least.. idk what's up with GAN volume. Crazy low
