The World Warhammer Championships (WWC) will start on the 16th of November! Players from all over the world will travel to Atlanta, USA, to compete in all of Games Workshop’s titles: Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Kill Team, and Warhammer Underworlds. The battles will rage on for 4 exciting days, with the winners declared on November 19th.

The WWC Reveals will take place on the 17th of November 10PM EST – which is on the 18th of November 3AM on GMT, so European fans will have to get up early if they want to experience the new content first-hand.

If I (well, Stockopedia) do a sort on net margin among consumer cyclicals, GAW is 4th, the 3 above it are not credible investments. If sort on all stocks excluding financials, basic materials and energy then GAW is 22nd out of 757.

The review highlights our high PER for a ftse-250 company. I believe that is because most are not growing their revenue by much.An interesting comparison: Gross margins are currently 68%, and net margins are 28%. The company's net margins are ranked better than 92% of 823 companies in the travel and leisure industry.

In the Frontier Developments trading update today they say that their Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin game will be released on 17th November.

So some more royalty revenue on its way in due course, let's hope the game is a success.

Over the last two years GAW has made 5 dividend payments each year. From 5 Jan 2022 to 4 Nov 2022 GAW paid out 290p per share for the year. From 25 November 2022 to 3 Nov 2023, they paid out 490p per share. That's a huge increase that gives a very reasonable yield of about 4.9%

The dates of the dividend payments and the amounts paid per share are listed below. .

25/2/22 65p 24/2/23 130p
13/5/22 70p 19/5/23 120p
12/9/22 90p 11/9/23 145p
4/11/22 30p 3/11/23 50p

Some people have compared the Nov 23 payment with the Sept 23 payment. They saw a large drop which they took as a danger signal, when they should have been comparing the Nov 23 payment with the Nov 22 payment and seen the increase.
Could that misunderstanding have led to the sell off?

Edison note this morning with increase of DCF valuation from £102 to £112. Notes no assumption or allowances made for any potential from a deal with Amazon.

Yes it seems very weird to suggest the share price wasn't moved massively by the Amazon announcement. There had been a trading update a week before and I think the last sentence of the Amazon press announcement was just to confirm they wouldn't be booking any Amazon revenues in 2023.
