I think analysts are liking the progit ffigure and the return to supplying comment this AM.

Average broker targets on this are now behind and thus will need revisiting.

This was a stock prior to COVID that most investors wanted (if not already held). Post COVID that sentiment is very much in place. Anyone who did't buy the dip is feeling a bit left out I suspect.

Well well well - glad I bought these beauties. There are so many "cheap" shares about but sadly I'm more or less fully invested. Perhaps I should have sold bp hsba rdsb and the rest - ah well they will recover in time.

Well not that clear - it only stated that warehouse operations were re-starting - no mention of production.

Remarkably frisky share price Wonder if something is going on in the background.

I sold 2/3 of my shares in recent weeks on the basis that we don't know when GAW will start trading again, and how quickly trade will recover.

Glad I held on to the rest.

Throughout the lockdown I've been getting frequent emails from GW for books, games, models. Some online and some mail order. I don't know they can deliver the mail order.

According to various tweets today Games Workshop is starting to accept orders from independent retailers again, although there is still no date when the warehouses will be operational.

Edit. Found this:

That's really their appeal - it is a unique unusual hobby which means even if people spend most of their time on the PS4 playing first person shooters, there is nothing in the same market place that really competes with warhammer

Interesting you should say that Scooper - similar experience here, my son's mate has also started again and just collected an old unfinished Baneblade from my lad to construct during the lockdown.

My son - 19 years old who hasn't looked at his figures for 8 years has decided to revisit them. Has been buying the paints and brushes and buying the warhammer books online.

Because the market is forward looking and we are starting to see CV levelling off and easing of restrictions.

If all the stores are closed worldwide and the warehouse and the website can't delivery everything, then how come this share is rising?

Re Edison updates. I have not received an Edison email that refers to GAW since mid-January. I checked the Edison web site and the last update was 15_Jan.
While they cannot meet GAW face-to-face they can talk via Zoom or Skype. A small update on plans would be helpful.

What about production, warehouse and transportation within the UK and transportation overseas?
Overseas transportation and customs at the receiving end, may be limited to essential goods during lock-downs.

Hi nod

Provided social distancing is maintained, the UK lockdown does not prevent GAW operating its non-shop operations.

I am pretty disappointed that this aspect of the business is not continuing in some way, shape or form.

Countries are beginning to open up at different levels. The USA is very keen - or Trump is. Here in New Zealand and Australia we are dropping down a level next week (unless something drastic happens). At this level, online ordering of anything restarts (currently it's only essential items). Stores will likely open for pick-up but not contact sales. So, as Warhammer stores open are GAW able to supply products to countries around the globe?Or, will the extended lockdown in the U.K. prevent overseas distribution?

Nod, according to Sharescope data, April 14th was only the fifth highest daily volume during the past 12 month period. The highest was during the March meltdown, when 488,127 shares were traded on 20 March.

They hint at it in their recent COVID 19 customer update. (Para 4)

Wherever you are in the world right now, we hope you’re all well and staying safe.

Last month we let you know that, owing to the COVID-19 situation, Games Workshop sites around the world would be closed until at least April 14th. Since then, we have been closely monitoring the situation and continuing to follow advice from the authorities here in the UK and overseas. We are committed to only opening when we are certain it's safe to do so and in line with the government’s full guidelines. Regrettably, this means Games Workshop sites won’t be re-opening on April 14th and will remain closed until further notice.

While we know this isn’t the news you wanted to hear, the health and safety of all of you, and all of Games Workshop’s staff, remains our number one priority.

Rest assured, however, good news is right around the corner. There’s a dedicated team working their socks off to make sure that as soon as we can, we’ll be up and running again able to ship you that pot of Nuln Oil you’re desperate for.

For now though, for all of us, the mission remains the same – bunker down, and stay safe!
