21/3/2012 08:28 | Well I only lost a small amount as a punt but people stand to lose their jobs. I hope too many people don't have to pay too much for the BoD's short sightedness. | ihavenoclue
21/3/2012 08:28 | phil1969 - 21 Mar'12 - 08:21 - 3760 of 3761 Well put. A lesson here if ever there were one to do your own research and not to believe what you read on a BB. | tim 3

21/3/2012 08:21 | The investors to feel sorry for are the ones left holding from much higher levels. New investors have had the opportunity to get out over the last 2 months with minimal losses compared with the losses long term investors were locked into. There has been enough coverage on GMG's plight to know the risks and trading GMG on this news made it very easy to make a short term profit. I sold 80% of my holding on Friday as too risky to hold over the weekend and didn't buy back in on Monday, the profit made trading GMG put cash in account and the 20% held were free. I'm sure most of the stock traded over the last 2 months has been along the same lines. Fingers crossed the new plan of action and streamlining will keep Game on the high street even if it is on a smaller scale. My heart felt wishes go out to all Game employees and there's still hope regardless of GMG's stock market position. | phil1969

21/3/2012 08:17 | So much for that dubious rumour of a Walmart bid and the "positive" signal of Goldman Sachs interest by way of its stake. What an amazing share performance over the course of the last week or so. I do not recall any share in relatively recent times effectively changing hands twice over within the space of such a short period. | bobsidian
21/3/2012 08:10 | feel sorry for those PI's who got sucked into holding last week, not realising the GAME was pass the parcel before you got burnt | lw425

21/3/2012 08:08 | Don't say you weren't warned and if you think the likes of Blueshore are still holding (assuming they ever did) you can think again. | pwhite73
21/3/2012 08:08 | Sincere commiserations to all longs - it's happened to all of us and it isn't funny. But it was known to be a high risk high reward situation: phil1969 - 7 Feb'12 - 16:12 - 5 of 3741 Yep, at these levels GMG is as good as priced to go into admin which makes it perfect for a multibagging recovery stock. | grahamite2
21/3/2012 08:08 | well, thats 6000 people looking for a job. Sad thing is they didn't have a clue. | bingowing
