Greater things are yet to come - 6 Jan'12

Within days GMG looks set to be a 40% red crashing through the
inevitable sub 5p, sub 4p and sub 3p.. just like HMV has been
proven.. The above infamous rampers pump dump efforts back at
10p failed, will continue to fail, and "£1.50 is absolutely pie
in the sky for any kind of play..." lol!

be even lucky to get a few more at these prices.

Personally I will never and would not bother buying any Game shares as
they will become even cheaper yet at sub 4p, sub 3p..... but ultimately
still return 0p in due course...



As repeatedly offered in posts over the last 6 months. The only way of
making any money from Game is to await the massive 75% administration
stock clearance sales and to spend whatever money you may have left
on actual STOCK, as in merchandise and hardware, and then sell it on
via ebay and elsewhere in the preowned market for profit.. Trying to
make money from gambling in shares will just continue to leave you burnt.

What a worthless recent dead cat bounce back to 7p on no actual news
whatseover, just some false hope from more DEBT being thrown at the

Not my dog this one. Yell, well time will tell but that is a different kettle of fish and has half a chance if the digital strategy works. What I am not convinced of is that shareholders won't get shafted as part of any restructuring and/or fund raising which I think they may have to do at some point.

Notice of Intention to Appoint an Administrator
"Further to this morning's announcement of the suspension of trading in shares of GAME Group plc, the board has concluded that its discussions with all stakeholders and other parties have not made sufficient progress in the time available to offer a realistic prospect for a solvent solution for the business. The board has therefore today filed a notice of intention to appoint an administrator. In the short term the Board's intention is that the business will continue to trade and discussions with lenders and third parties will continue under the protection of the interim moratorium."

Well thats the statment off the up to the miniute situation for GMG a thinley veiled line of hope to sit and wait what will come out off all these said discussions for my 2pence the administrators will want there huge fees for as long as possible then announce a one line statement some time in the future we now put GMG finally to rest.

Immigration - they get housing benefit to prop up rents, thus propping up house prices. It is £400 to rent a studio flat - for one person to live by themself on minimum wage thats almost half their wages gone - if housing benefit was gone, rents would fall. We are deficit spending, and this is printing money to go to such benefits, that this country cannot afford.


The highstreet businesses receive no "shop benefit" to help pay their rents.

Mass Immigration is still playing a big part in keeping Property prices up - It is plainly obvious if you go to any High Street.

The Highstreet is dead - the government, media, politicians are only interested in propping up property prices over the last decade. The thing is, they should have collapsed since 2007 after Northern Rock.

Instead, the UK has led the world in inflating and extending and pretending, to protect the balance sheets of banks. Landlords thus think they can still charge "x" rent +5% year on year increases due to the capital value increases. Business rates continue on an upward rate (these funds go straight to central government).

What ever happens the fundamentals will out and property prices must collapse to drive rents down or there will be no high street.

Knigel - I think that explains his lack of understanding of market valuations. If glaxosmithkline had a 1 for 15 split, they would be valued under a quid (yet valued the same)!

Honiton, why on earth should u avoid a share with a share price of less than £ 1? There are quite a few medium cap shares with SPs under £ 1...CWC, CW. Blvn(!) to name three. It's an interesting investment strategy though
