21/3/2012 22:05 | Serious question, if you short say hmv do you get paid out to £0? | bob monkhouse
21/3/2012 21:45 | Every step of the way for months, despite infamous idiots like grahamite2, Told you so................. 0p >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Greater things are yet to come - 6 Jan'12 Within days GMG looks set to be a 40% red crashing through the inevitable sub 5p, sub 4p and sub 3p.. just like HMV has been proven.. The above infamous rampers pump dump efforts back at 10p failed, will continue to fail, and "£1.50 is absolutely pie in the sky for any kind of play..." lol! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>> The shareprice was 7p at the time... justthemoney - 6 Jan'12 - 18:19 - 5467 of 5485 Thanks man, you are doing a great job here deramping the stock. I might be even lucky to get a few more at these prices. >>>>> Its not deramping justthemoney! It is just fact, truth and reality, as confirmed by the screen prices now in front of you..... Were you so lucky to get even more shares at 7p this week, now available in the last GAME SALE of all time for 35% cheaper ???? Personally I will never and would not bother buying any Game shares as they will become even cheaper yet at sub 4p, sub 3p..... but ultimately still return 0p in due course... As repeatedly offered in posts over the last 6 months. The only way of making any money from Game is to await the massive 75% administration stock clearance sales and to spend whatever money you may have left on actual STOCK, as in merchandise and hardware, and then sell it on via ebay and elsewhere in the preowned market for profit.. Trying to make money from gambling in shares will just continue to leave you burnt. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> What a worthless recent dead cat bounce back to 7p on no actual news whatseover, just some false hope from more DEBT being thrown at the equally 0p soon HMV........ Fools and money continue to be parted gambling on these bankrupt dogs.. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> | greater things are yet to come
21/3/2012 20:47 | Not my dog this one. Yell, well time will tell but that is a different kettle of fish and has half a chance if the digital strategy works. What I am not convinced of is that shareholders won't get shafted as part of any restructuring and/or fund raising which I think they may have to do at some point. | spennysimmo
21/3/2012 20:25 | simon. another one of your dogs hits the dust. yell next old mucker .fact | uncle arthur
21/3/2012 20:10 | Game Group PLC 21 March 2012 21 March 2012 Notice of Intention to Appoint an Administrator "Further to this morning's announcement of the suspension of trading in shares of GAME Group plc, the board has concluded that its discussions with all stakeholders and other parties have not made sufficient progress in the time available to offer a realistic prospect for a solvent solution for the business. The board has therefore today filed a notice of intention to appoint an administrator. In the short term the Board's intention is that the business will continue to trade and discussions with lenders and third parties will continue under the protection of the interim moratorium." Well thats the statment off the up to the miniute situation for GMG a thinley veiled line of hope to sit and wait what will come out off all these said discussions for my 2pence the administrators will want there huge fees for as long as possible then announce a one line statement some time in the future we now put GMG finally to rest. | vision88
21/3/2012 20:07 | be carefull what we wish for lads. if high street shuts down, how can i/we touchy touchy before buying from amazon . | uncle arthur
21/3/2012 20:07 | Immigration - they get housing benefit to prop up rents, thus propping up house prices. It is £400 to rent a studio flat - for one person to live by themself on minimum wage thats almost half their wages gone - if housing benefit was gone, rents would fall. We are deficit spending, and this is printing money to go to such benefits, that this country cannot afford. The highstreet businesses receive no "shop benefit" to help pay their rents. | notanewmember2
21/3/2012 20:02 | Mass Immigration is still playing a big part in keeping Property prices up - It is plainly obvious if you go to any High Street. | isis
21/3/2012 20:00 | The Highstreet is dead - the government, media, politicians are only interested in propping up property prices over the last decade. The thing is, they should have collapsed since 2007 after Northern Rock. Instead, the UK has led the world in inflating and extending and pretending, to protect the balance sheets of banks. Landlords thus think they can still charge "x" rent +5% year on year increases due to the capital value increases. Business rates continue on an upward rate (these funds go straight to central government). What ever happens the fundamentals will out and property prices must collapse to drive rents down or there will be no high street. | notanewmember2
21/3/2012 19:52 | Probably one of those companies that just sell clothles... | knigel
21/3/2012 19:44 | no lad ... PC World will be next .fact | uncle arthur
21/3/2012 19:30 | Knigel - I think that explains his lack of understanding of market valuations. If glaxosmithkline had a 1 for 15 split, they would be valued under a quid (yet valued the same)! | wooster4
21/3/2012 19:30 | Anyone who has lost money on Game quite frankly should not be investing on the stockmarket. The writing has been on the wall for months. HMV will be next mark my words. | logbaba
21/3/2012 19:27 | at last you lot can now stop ramping this dog up .fact | uncle arthur
21/3/2012 19:27 | Honiton, why on earth should u avoid a share with a share price of less than £ 1? There are quite a few medium cap shares with SPs under £ 1...CWC, CW. Blvn(!) to name three. It's an interesting investment strategy though | knigel
21/3/2012 19:07 | If ever I hold a companies shares and Goldman sachs take a stake I bail. They are hopeless. | logbaba

21/3/2012 18:26 | Honiton: 'At the first sign of trouble, sell'? Not always a good idea. Look at good old Carpetright with its string of profit warnings and ridiculous share price | ron d voo |
