Evening, I after a good day, am in the mood to stab someone. If some one cheats me at cards or anything else, I would fill them in.... Someone tell me this is different??

200k, not much but count me in, i.e £3k loss, I'll do the sensible route....at the moment.

We could of course be barking up the wrong stick, and it is not PD, but just an austatious approach.

Count me in 100k! Whats strange is the fact they have offered 1.25! why not wait to see if price falls further! or are they expecting price to bounce?

If Davidson is behind this,and we shouldn't speculate too much until we know more,then surely he is privvy to sensitive information whilst we are in the closed period. The results will confirm whether or not 1.25p is determined as good or bad. If I wanted to take the company over,I would try and get it for as little as possible,so I'd chance my arm and see what happens.
It maybe because the company is really in the $hit and could fold - the assets (stakes in other companies) may cost more to buy on the open market,compared to an mbo and people in the know view these stakes with huge upside. It may also be a way of stopping the share from dropping further,or it may just be an opportunistic offer from a 3rd party.
In terms of the 90%+ acceptance,does anyone know what Angus Munro still holds? I ask as from memory he wasn't the best of mates with PD,and could throw a spanner in the works - is he happy with 1.25p?
I hold quite a few and will be watching things develop with interest over the next few days. Anyone spoke to the company yet by the way???

And don't forget the offer could increase!

Dunno why Im laughing, after Ive sorted this lot out Im gonna regroup and do the day job for a couple of months.

Forgot to mention DTC which has turned into profit and dropped about 40% since doing so...LOL

A reverse takeover is on cards - management must consider 17p offer price - mkt cap of 15 million.

Crist I'd buy the co for 1.1 million and pocket the cash at bank and shares in the other co's.

A fair value is well in excess of 10p

Should be refused not considered.

I'm friends with Paul Scott. We could start an action group to prevent this deal going through if the bidder is Paul Davidson. If it's not Paul Davidson then no point. I'll ask Paul for some advice but really perhaps it is best to see who the bidder is.

A thought - if it is indeed the plumber who is making the offer, then surely he wouldn't be allowed to do this during a close period which we'll be in until the results are announced, especially if he knows any price sensitive information.

Will try to email the FSA tomorrow if I can find their address. Had a look at the website earlier but could only find consumer oriented information.

I've only got 76k (thankfully) but you can add them to your total. There's no way I'd go with that offer.
