Whatever happens, I dont think GAI will be late issuing their results - they are just not that complicated!

Management may take it to the wire in an effort to get at least one floatation on board prior to release of numbers.

According to recent polls most people in the uk would back a war IF there was evidence that Iraq have WMD and IF war was backed by the UN.

With all their high tech spy equipment the US have not shown any real evidence that Iraq have WMD. So what's this war really about ?

My own view FWIW is that GAI should be 3p in the absence of news one way or the other. Assumes £2m cash and say £.75m value on the investments

Everyone is morbid on here I see.

Me just waiting to see what happens, I only invested what i was prepared to lose in this high risk stock so if you don't like the way things are going at the moment i would bail if I were you.

I think they are wise to delay the floats if they can afford to because idiot Bush and sidekick Bonkers Blair are heading for war.

Im interested in this stock because it looks so familiar to others Ive had poor experiences with. Im also bored at work. Anyway these boards are full of rampers so I feel its my duty as a responsible citizen to counter some of the drivel. I see myself as a guardian of the idiot investor who might swallow some of the mince. If you were reading this thread a few months ago everyone and their dog were stating how 10p was a realistic minimum. I posted that I had serious doubts if the floats would proceed and was caned. So who was right? I can only hope I may have saved some poor halfwit from a serious loss.

Anyway please feel free to "deramp" (LOL do you guys honestly believe some poor BB poster can have any affect on a share price?) . Honestly I couldn't care less. In fact it would liven things up a bit.

The people who are in GAI now are well aware of the risks - I got in at 1.75 because I like the risk/reward from here on in.

Its depressing enough on the markets without having to listen to someone banging on all the time! :-)

PS can we have a list of all your stocks so that we can haunt those threads in retaliation?? :-P

I always say Im going to stop posting (Im a compulsive liar). Anyway Im not deramping. LOL! Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together can see that. And clearly most people did believe it was a done deal and the company did say they expected them all to float on the same day in Q4 2002. It was an irresponsible RNS at best.

hello? The market conditions for new floats are exactly the same as they were in November. ie rank awful. Whats changed since then? The threat of war has been around for at least 6 months.

I agree with previous posters. If GAI make a statement announcing 3 imminent flotations in the middle of worst bear market in living memory then they have got to deliver. Anyone reading that RNS would assume the floats were a done deal.

I think no floats for now but market sentiment can change very fast when it starts going up. We have to hope the directors keep their income low to preserve cash and wait for better times.

Good trading. Whatever you go into now is going to have to go up nearly 50% bid sold to offer bought for you to be able to buy back into GAI at just break-even c. 1.75p. If offer moves up, you'll have to make more to break-even. Good luck.

And ps: the only reason the offer went up to 2p for a few seconds was that the KBCS quote of 1-1.75 came off the system promptly at 16.30 leaving only WINS showing at 1.25-2p until the end of day position is officially posted as unchanged at 1.25 (WINS) - 1.75 (KBCS). Be very careful of these pre-opening/end of day fluctuations. Nothing to do with price movements, and all to do with mm's logging on and off the system at the start and end of day.

Err I think the market has dropped more than 10% since 5/11/02 - so to say the market hasn't changed is the most bizarre text I've read on this board for ages.
