06/3/2003 17:12 | And so does that mean share holders get comp? I dont think so. If you send email 2 sense sonic info it does a loop and gets returned. I think this one is possibly starting to smell a bit.Thats why iam out for the moment.I like to have an open mind and take facts as truth but at the moment there is very litle fact comming out IMOH | mothball1
06/3/2003 16:57 | If they do not confirm floatation before end of this quarter. they will be in breach, they confirmed 3 floatations before then, the market hasnt changed. If this was a ploy to release other ex directors.then they have lied. This sort of offical statment can be and will be looked into by the SFA. I can confirm that.. | efficient trader
06/3/2003 16:55 | My sell of 106000 has not shown yet and by the way just as i did the transaction ,the offer ( for a few seconds went up too 2p) I may get back in again later but I wanted a chance on another stock | mothball1

06/3/2003 11:35 | Knopfler, spot on. I can understand that the market conditions are delaying things, but's let's hear something official....anything | fozdad
06/3/2003 11:28 | Tom, He wasn't patronising to me whan I spoke to him a few days ago. Maybe you caught him on a bad day. If the floats don't happen now, the accounts will confirm the balance sheet deserves a much higher share price than the current depressed markets are applying. When value is eventually realised for one or more of the investments, particularly FCS, then a premium to current net assets will be justified. I hold a significant amount, but am not buying more only because it will take me over 3%. | sreddy
06/3/2003 11:19 | Tom Did you pick up the e-mail addy on other thread? Gonna remove in 20 mins | nav_mike
06/3/2003 11:14 | ' mis contstrue what I say'. i thought it was what they were not saying that is causing all the concern/apprehension it's quite simple mark - if you want people to understand you perfectly without any mis-understanding release an rns and tell us what's going on, in plain english not ambiguious company ceo speak. | knopfler
06/3/2003 11:04 | Mr K how do you find Mark to speak to? | tom2468
06/3/2003 11:03 | At least they are still cash rich I suppose | tom2468
06/3/2003 11:02 | Tom . Let me know when got it | nav_mike
06/3/2003 11:01 | no mike but would like it! | tom2468
06/3/2003 10:58 | Well thats reassuring isnt it Tom? What we all need to remember is that our investments are just to be used as playthings by small company directors. How dare we ask for progress on floatations that were expected in the last quarter of 2002? Bought back into BBG this morning - did well on the last move up. Overhang probably cleared by one big transaction this morning, level2 transformed By the way Tom do you have my e-mail address? | nav_mike
06/3/2003 10:49 | I have had a conversation with Mark He is one hell of an arrogant tw*t! Asked me if I used bulletin boards and I said I looked and he said well I dont talk to people who go on there because they always mis contstrue what I say. I asked him about the cash position of the company and he said they were strong I asked him about the floatations and he said " have you seen the markets?" This guy needs a slap! Very very patronising | tom2468
06/3/2003 08:50 | TOM2468 - no reply to your call then I guess? | moneypit23
06/3/2003 00:48 | Sreddy many thanks for your help - Mike Edwards | spike_1
06/3/2003 00:40 | I don't know, Spike. It depends whether the CFD's are classed as a business asset. Try the IR web-site. www.inlandrevenue.go Actually try - and look at the definition of business assets on page 44. The definition of qualifying shares is around there somewhere as well. | sreddy
06/3/2003 00:18 | OFF-TOPIC Sreddy you seem knowledgeable in this area, can you or others help with this question? Part of my portfolio is in CFD's (100K). Are profits if taken after two years eligible for CGT taper relief in the same way as 'normal' aim shares? And yes I know 2 years is a long time to maintain a position with a CFD, hence my question. Regards Mike Edwards | spike_1
05/3/2003 11:45 | Tom, Good luck no one returned my call! | ladylucy
05/3/2003 10:36 | I am waiting for a call from Mark will let you know the outcome | tom2468
05/3/2003 09:28 | this company is getting worse by the day. why are the results not out? possibily because they need altering? maybe, somehow, floatation revenues may have been booked into the accounts in advance to make them look good, now there are no floats they are being adjusted and will show a heafty loss. there's no real reason why they should not be able to release them. there is somthing in the results we do not know about, that's why they're not out. we've heard it all before: change in accounting policy, difficult market conditions, whatever, anything to turn expected good results into terribly poor results, oh! and it's not their fault - yeah, right! even if an rns comes out specifiing a date i would not trust it/them. i think a suspension for non release of accounts is just around the corner. before anyone has a go at me - these are my own personal views and opinions, i have not spoken to anyone connected with the company and have no 'inside information' just my take on events as i see them. | knopfler
05/3/2003 08:56 | 5p will do for the comfort factor, 10p will do after a year, when the first level of taper relief will become available. As I said I can wait, and was always looking to hold for taper relief. | sreddy |
