13/3/2003 14:12 | Nice one GAI.... and thanks for keeping us informed of your obvious failings as a company that owes anything to it's shareholders... D | dennisbergkamp
13/3/2003 14:11 | sreddy.... yes my spelling is poor do not have a problem with that.... i am dysletic... but only willing to help people.... made a lot of money in the markets and in my own companies in which i have sold but had the luck to ride out to large resseions in my time had a secatary to do my letters.but that is by the by now i did warn you lot ..... but that has gone by know these markets will kick you in the teeth as they have done for the last 2.5 years....... no body is making money in these markets only if you are playing gold... from the small players to the large players..... quite a few from the golf club are being sent back to the states to explain what the hell has gone wrong.... csfb, mlsb and others from speaking to the chairmans or aka playing golf with them,, all saying that theyare losing money hand over fist...and that they have had enough of companies lying to them but i said to them thats like calling the keetle black.... as they first started this all off in the first place...... but any way sreddy hope this has not hit you to hard in the pocket.... most of are close friends from the city will not touch the shares at present as they see 1500 on the cards and they have changed there money to gold bars as they are deeply worried about the banks.... but any way good luck to you all in your investments | kennethrich
13/3/2003 14:01 | sreddy if you dont mind revealing, how much loss would you inccur in a bid of 1.25 have been watchin this board closely and know u where quite heavy in these | doodle1
13/3/2003 13:56 | OK, Kenneth, You were right and I was wrong. I hope at least the part of my analysis which said the downside was limited is right. Here's to at least 1.25p and hopefully, with a bit of luck, a bit more. Right, what's next to try and recoup these losses? | sreddy
13/3/2003 13:56 | e-mail ceo@galileoinnovatio | jubjee
13/3/2003 13:52 | hmmm .... concert party? | eurofox
13/3/2003 13:48 | Does anyone know the E-mail addres of GAI? | cappagh
13/3/2003 13:48 | bad luck ladies and gents ? | kennethrich
13/3/2003 13:41 | Nav_Mike, Hard feelings? Hell no. (well at least not much) Its unbelieveable how badly the management have behaved and performed here. Really awful. The company would be in much better shape now if 4 chimpanzees had been running things for the last 12 months. | hugepants
13/3/2003 13:41 | It's taught me a valuable lesson though. Have lost money in the past buying ART, despite knowing about SD's reputation, a lot of the losses being down to all kinds of shannigans including him selling his shares to the company at way above market price. Have now lost money on GAI (so far) which I bought despite have heard of the plumber's reputation. Never again !! | grebo
13/3/2003 13:38 | The papers will hopefully have a field day with this one given 'The Plumber' and his previously high profile. You can certainly understand why the small cap market is dead - no buyers, less than scrupulous management, and a finance market totally unwilling to finance anything. | nav_mike
13/3/2003 13:37 | It is an 'indicative' bid. And considering could mean negotiation. But I'm not atall optimistic myself. | chaz99
13/3/2003 13:33 | Chaz, if the bidder doesn't have the full picture, and has undervalued their bid, then surely management would have rejected it out of hand rather than considering it. Anyone reported this to the FSA ? Still think it stinks - no results issued, then offer made below current market mid price and management are considering it. | grebo
13/3/2003 13:30 | Yeah! Unless the management are going to push the bid up to a reasonable level. It is of course possible that the bidder has not got the entire picture of what is on the balance sheet. | chaz99
13/3/2003 13:29 | speak to the management... | safman
13/3/2003 13:27 | are/will the shares be suspended? | jubjee
13/3/2003 13:26 | Well if as seems likely, we are to get shafted, how about making sure the press hear about Lord Lamont's involvement? | nav_mike
13/3/2003 13:25 | Frankly if I was a shareholder Id seriously considering suing the management. Nav_Mike, apology accepted. LOL | hugepants
13/3/2003 13:22 | Paul Davidson 15.00% Angus Monro 12.14% Martin Roy Varley 11.67% Mark Charles Warburton 10.24% Robert William Long 10.24% Edward C Johnson 3rd 9.43% Gartmore Investment Limited 3.20% This is from TDW and must be out of date as Fidelity (Edward C Johnson) sold their holding at the end of last year. I guess the directors' holdings can't have changed, otherwise there would have been associated RNS announcements. | grebo
13/3/2003 13:21 | was thinking of buying gai.. but having seen the recent announcement, i think not... one of you guys should seriously speak to the management.. a lot of shareholders have probably lost a lot on this one... good luck... | safman
13/3/2003 13:15 | well at least 1.25 is more than it is now.......btw You can trade a sizeable amount online at the mo......well more than normal | bigspuds |
