11/3/2003 08:40 | Theres nothing like falling stock prices to bring out the worst in human beings. We used to get decent analysis on this thread, now get back-biting, sniping and hugepants' needless 'observations' wonderful | nav_mike
11/3/2003 08:22 | You 'experienced investors' need to learn what a 'close period' is. The directors shouldn't be talking to you anyway - certainly not to tell you any 'unpublished, price-sensitive' information. The floats are probably delayed due to the dire markets. As a previous poster said, the accounts will be very simple and will reveal the true state of affairs - certainly warranting a share price well above current levels IMHO. The company are probably busy getting the accounts finalised. I took a position in November that they would get the floats away and the share price was supported by cash. The alternative to the floats is not the company going bust, which is what the current share price is reflecting, so I can wait. Apart from staying in cash, almost any other share has gone backwards since December, GAI is relatively illiquid and has suffered on sells, particularly in February. I still think if I tried to buy 2,622,000 shares now, I wouldn't get them for 1.75p. I am certainly not selling for 1p or anything like it. Ps. 2,622,000 shares is 2.9966%. | sreddy
11/3/2003 07:35 | Errm Mr K. Reckon you owe Sreddy an apology. Kennithrich, said exactly that what Sreddy said he did. Your posts are generally informative, but don't forget you are not the only one to be able to pick the phone up. I have been in stocks that Sreddy has been in and have never known her to lie, take THC for example, if you check RNS you will see there that she had over3% , exactly as she said she had. I suggest that you read further back in the thread and you will see the post that she refered to about when Kennith called the directors. Still this is a BB where people are for and against the stock, I for one appreciate both sides of the argument.... just don't take things personal old chap, especially when they are not directed at you. Regards | minuteman
10/3/2003 22:26 | Sreddy, I am assuming that your jibe, of sorts, is not in fact directed at KENNETHRICH, but at me. After all KENNETHRICH has not quoted anything from the directors, but I have. Sure the directors are not speaking to me now, that's their choice. Perhaps I was wrong to write up an interview with Mark Warburton on ADVFN, but when you get no RNS investors want to know what is going on. I have done my best to keep Galileo investors informed on this board, I am 19 years old as well. What were you doing when you were 19? Attending finishing school? You claim to own around 2.95% of this company and yet you will not take your holding over 3% thus triggering an RNS announcement about your holding. You have absolutely no reason for not owning over 3%. So often have you harked on about owning a large % of the company and yet you're not willing to actually prove it by taking your holding over 3%. Let's take Paul Curtis. Paul is often seen to buy over 3% of a company. Sreddy, you do yourself no favours by boasting of your holding, especially without backing it up in public. You say you wouldn't return someones phonecall if I knew {you} were going to spout rubbish on a bulletin board. KENNETHRICH has not spouted rubbish on this or any other bulletin board, nor have I, so just who is your statement aimed at? Having a pen and paper and jotting down 'quotations' that directors say is what journalism is all about. If you are taking what Mark Warburton has said over and above me then you are gravely mistaken. Exactly how can you believe that what I have related is not the truth when the directors were stupid enough to issue an RNS in November spouting rubbish? You're not going to get any brownie points from directors for taking their sides. You are clued up on Galileo but you have a rash tongue on you. A useful lesson that you would do well to heed is to think before you speak!. As for me, well I will no longer report back my conversations with directors on bulletin boards. That is not my loss! 10/3/2003 20:11 | sreddy frankly you sound like Mark warburton!!!!!! And for the holding you claim to have well..... you have been deathly quiet with no concerns aired on the share price | tom2468
10/3/2003 19:49 | KENNETHRICH, I wouldn't return your phone call if I knew you were going to spout rubbish on a bulletin board. I'd rather get on with running the company, dealing with the delayed floats and alternatives and getting the accounts out. They have probably taken a policy decision not to keep talking to small shareholders who are going to publish their conversations on bulletin boards - errors and mis-quotes and all. | sreddy
10/3/2003 19:40 | if the norm runs true they have been sponking the money in restraunts nightclubs filights on concorde and so on is the norm in todays market lets be frank you can do a moni and still get paid a fortune for losing all the companies money.... they have proven nothing kept to no dates and soon will be in breach of stock market rules has all the hallmarks of going bang ?? | kennethrich
10/3/2003 18:58 | Have these bloody pathfinders finally gone out yet, do we know? I'm beginning to wonder what the directors of this company are actually doing with their time. | chaz99
10/3/2003 18:55 | only a 280% increase now, for me to break even, this gets better by the day. cheers mark - great company you're running here. how much do i need to invest to keep you in a job for another 12 months. | knopfler

10/3/2003 14:21 | Hello Sorry to be a pain but i was wondering if you could help me by filling in my dissertation questionnaire researching investors opionions towards share options, specifically the issue of expensing them. It is only short and will take approx. 3 minutes to complete. You can access the dissertation online at: Many thanks in advance to anyone who helps me with this. Owen Temple | otemple
10/3/2003 14:11 | PS. please dont buy too many SYM befor I get in !! | smartypants
10/3/2003 11:52 | since there is little to say about GAI at the moment perhaps SYM may interest some of my fellow loosers ? biodegradable carrier bags for super markets !!!!! sales up + results this week take a look. | smartypants
10/3/2003 09:25 | Well whatever happens with the floatations, I think we will end this month with a great deal more clarity with regard to GAI than we have now. For that reason alone, I think the price will be higher than it is now. | nav_mike
09/3/2003 16:58 | lets hope the rise can continue | tom2468
08/3/2003 00:14 | We need to see the bid rise from 1.5 before we start regretting anything | nav_mike
08/3/2003 00:13 | Wish I'd bought more @ 1.6p now - ho hum, hindsight and all that... | moneypit23
08/3/2003 00:05 | I don't normally discuss the war but it is relavent to GAI because I'm sure the war/markets are the reasons for the delays and nothing sinister | buckers01 |
