The other serious issue related to the OTC use of something like MED3000 is without medical diagnosis of the cause of the erectile dysfunction and of any potentially underlying serious medical conditions (such as CVD and diabetes), the risks associated with self-treatment of erectile dysfunction outweigh the benefits. MED3000 if approved OTC could lead to deaths as ED can be an early warning sign of CVD. Its why Viagra connect requires a Pharmacist consultation and why OTC viagra was turned down twice by the TGA https://s4be.cochrane.org/blog/2014/10/13/richards-reviews-sham-devices-placebos/ The author of this article argues that when a drug proves harmful it can be stopped but the use of a medical procedure/device cannot be undone; medical devices should therefore be under more stringent licensing criteria, not less – as is the case. The issue with this being that the alternative for a placebo drug being a tablet, in medical drug trials, is a sham device in medical device trials, and with sham devices/interventions come ethical issues and fears for patient safety. Recent research has shown that the placebo effect is not only similar for medical devices to medical trials; it is considerably larger – the effect of a sham device is almost three times that of an oral placebo. This proves the case for the need of medical devices to be approved based on trials that compare them at first to sham devices. Once effectiveness has been proved at an early stage it is no longer necessary sham devices be used in comparison, therefore minimizing ethical concerns. https://www.sciencetimes.com/articles/30314/20210325/pde5-inhibitor-heart-disease-erectile-dysfunction-heart-disease.htm https://blogs.biomedcentral.com/on-medicine/2014/10/20/viagra-protects-the-heart-back-to-the-future-for-the-love-pills/ At least the opposite evidence appears for Sildenafil use for men with stable coronary artery disease and its use may actually be a benefit. MED3000 OTC as a treatment for ED could mean patients with CVD self treat their ED which is an early waning indicator for CVD. They are then missed for early life saving interventions.

Simple fact is, PDT, it hasn't been approved by anybody yet, which rather diminishes the worthiness of your post [9201].

No investment is risk free and any product no matter its merits can only succeed if it meets a need or it gains traction among consumers, which is why sensible investors will diversify and not pin their hopes on any single stock. @Ibo i dont get why you keep repeating your point many times a day, if you think this stock is heading south then open a short position and wait for the pay cheque, those who think otherwise can hold or buy more, you seem rather emotionally attached to this share, remember the share doesnt know you own it, if you care about being right then become a philosopher or a preacher not an investor or a trader, if you lost money here move on to something else, you dont have to make it the way you lost it!

Deja vu. Futura even tried to get in on the act with PET500 https://www.edisoninvestmentresearch.com/?ACT=18&ID=11136 Standalone known as Epic, combination is Uphoria PET500 is marketed as Epic, which is available either alone or in a combination pack (called Uphoria) with the Excite female lubricant that enhances stimulation and sensitivity. The financial terms of the Ansell worldwide licensing agreement are not disclosed but Futura Medical estimates that a 5% share of the global OTC performance-enhancement market would result in royalties of £8-10m per year. https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/53388/update-plethora-solutions-granted-eu-marketing-approval-63365.html https://www.sharesmagazine.co.uk/news/shares/shareholders-disappointed-at-plethora-sale https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/62454/update-plethora-solutions-flagship-product-to-be-marketed-as-fortacin-in-europe-72982.html https://events.masterinvestor.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/MI_2017_Professor_Michael_Grant_Wyllie_-_Regent_Pacific_Group.pdf https://www.recordati.com/resources/Pubblicazione/___eb9a60f3bad5457a9b3ebf9813dc19e1_/annual-report-2019.pdf Fortacin┬« (lidocaine+prilocaine) is an easy?to?use fast acting topical spray formulation of lidocaine and prilocaine for the treatment of premature ejaculation. Sometimes simple inventions turn out to be the most effective, many examples. Futura Gel is both simple and effective. Therefore it could turn out to be a blockbuster world wide.

The simple fact is they have a European regulator approved product that is faster acting (10 minutes compared to one hour) and cheaper than the existing products. It can be sold without prescription and having no drug in the product is an advantage. It is easy to manufacture, extremely high margins, easy to distribute, market and online sales will be huge. It is ready to go on sale in May, They will have financial success if they can achieve peak sales of just 5% of the market. Their market cap would be a multiple of what it is today with that small level of success. These are the facts, it is a fair risk reward for an investor IMHO. If I was looking for negatives I would say they need to appoint the right partners and there may be a small placing to fund the US trial. However, even if this was for £10m there would be huge institutional demand and with a current market cap over £100m would have little affect on the share price. As usual time will tell. The next few months will be exciting and news driven.

Tommy, Actually you can quite easily sample it, particularly since covid. Just pick up a pack of 70-80% alcohol content hand sanitizer. Do bear in mind that the intention is to benefit ED sufferers though so YMMV.

Glavey If I could just get my hands on one tube of this concoction I wud know how many USDs to throw at it. Wish there was some science behind it. The GTN made sense. No active ingredient not so much. As a result I am not in this very deep so to speak.

Yes Tommy, the condoms weren't around for long. Nothing like as long as the years they spent trying to get various parties involved, most of whom withdrew. I suppose one could say that Futura haven't had a lot of luck, if that's the right phrasing. Some of these small listed companies carry on for years like that, sufficient to carry the senior staff through to retirement.

Clearly lbo is new to this board, if he thinks that his constant deramping will have any effect, aside from stultifying everyone with his boring monologue. If only he would read back some of the clumsy attempts by the likes of jonnybig, the butler, leewain-ker et al, to try and drag this share down only to end up looking stupid. On the other hand, maybe this is yet another persona from the jonnybutlerwain-ker stable. Better whip up another one, lbo, so you can congratulate each other on your "excellent posts" and "calling it right". Bwahahaha! How pathetic do they look now? Massive losers, just like lbo!

IT IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT!If the get it done and out by 2025 that gives them 3 years. If they don't they can sell the research. 15 staff! They only have the man power/funds for 1 product at a time. On a brighter side, MED3000 should give them a leg up ;)

Bullish finish today. Still time for those who missed out to get in (you too LBO), but I think it will take off on Monday before I have a chance to top up a bit more. Self marketing product if there was any. Plenty of coverage in the press. Plenty of announcements to come in the form of partnerships with upfront payments. FUM have been at it for years and I guess their time has come. Wish everyone plenty of excitement in more ways than just the share price ;-)

If you sell at a lose you should never of purchased in the first place, IMO. Unless the company is going down which it hasn't/isn't I see no reason to sell for a lose.I too have lost money it's not pleasant. I won't say the company name but let's say the were/are the largest health care provider in Dubai. I gave my holding to charity.
