Really? The way the Co-High financial deal was structured it has cost them nothing as they can sell on the loan to a fund that can short the shares all the way back down to the conversion price and then have no capital outlay on the loan. If the share price is kept above 30p then the loan converts at 20p into 7.5m shares. Sell 3m shares less above 50p and then get 7.5m later at 20p. And what new investor or shareholder would pay more then 20-30p based on that valuation deal in any upcoming placing? Co-High could also buy more in a discounted placing if they wanted any more shares or they just sit on the Futura contract without having to go to the cost of doing the China studies or launching it ever. Its a free bet for a investment company not a company that specialises in distribution of similar products in China. Unlike the CSD500 deal which was at least with a recognised company in Ansell and under a brand like Jissbon. But still that didn’t generate any Revenue for Futura. If we see similar small time distribution deals with MED300 as happened with CSD500 then we won’t see any significant upfront cash from those deals. So they need to do a placing. https://www.lewissilkin.com/en/insights/convertible-loan-notes-and-or-advance-subscription-agreements-as-a-source-of-emergency-funding-faqs

I don't think there will be a placing. If they get a deal, as they have frequently mentioned, there will be an decent upfront payment. Especially regarding the EU partnership deal, as all the work has been done. imho With China deal, the monies being offered is to actually run the trails etc that the regulators will require.

History just repeating itself. So you have no worries about the fine print of the financing deal Futura signed with Co-High containing “certain events of default”? And no notice of FY results has been announced unlike last year. Or that in September interims Futura said “company continues to have sufficient cash resources through to Q2 2021”. As Trinity said themselves “ Management has been candid that additional financing will be required Looking back to 2011 which was not during a pandemic it took over a month get the full CE mark on CSD500 awarded after the notification https://polaris.brighterir.com/public/futura_medical/news/rns/story/rm55v5w https://polaris.brighterir.com/public/futura_medical/news/rns/story/w6nnmlr

Sadly that was not the case with CSD500 after it got its CE Mark too. The licensing and distribution deals were signed on it too but it never generated any Royalties for Futura. And the reason is simple and was seen with CSD500 in the Netherlands with BizzyDiamond, Kabey Pharma in the Middle East, Portugal and F Lima SA, Nordic countries and RFSU, South East Europe and Milsing, South Korea and Kwang Dong Pharmaceuticals. Same issue arises now as “Futura will be entitled to 50% of regional profits from the commercialisation of MED3000” That profit is net of the set up, marketing and distribution costs which are massive costs especially for small distributors. Even the large brands distributors like Reckitt, Church and Dwight and Ansell who all had signed deals realised it and walked away and decided the product didn’t have enough differentiation or potential even for their establised brands like Durex, Trojan, Lifestyles and Jissbon to risk investing the sums needed to get consumers to buy it.

Lets see how fantastic the participants think it is over the 6 months of using it in the FDA study. The FDA obviously think the placebo effect will fall away over time when the participants know or realise they are just using a placebo gel. Presume in this FDA trail unlike in the Med2005 study they will be told or can at least now see in the public domain that the gel now contains no active vasodilator GTN drug and they are just studying an alcohol and water gel evaporating causing a cooling and warming effect? The same news the other day in the Sun and Times was just rehashed from the Mirror in February when the share price was still under 15p. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/new-impotence-gel-you-just-21504640

people will use it regardless of erection issues because you rub it to erection as many times you like to satisfy very hot birds. Fantastic isn’t it. Since it is a gel not drug , it won’t have any side effects apart from giving pleasure , lubrication and enjoyable time to hot birds

As I said previously some people may quite rightly have questioned the annual remuneration of the Directors in Futura in light of all the product failures. https://uk.advfn.com/cmn/fbb/thread.php3?id=33313581&from=3478 But what many have really questioned over the years is why they hold and buy such small amounts of shares themselves. The answer is out there and has been since its IPO https://www.standard.co.uk/hp/front/smaller-companies-spotlight-6969560.html Former insurance broker James Barder became involved with Futura having made an investment in what was a private company; pre-Viagra, he, some family and friends all thought it a 'bit of a laugh' initially, but are now very serious. Together they speak for around 25% of the company and many of them came in at the equivalent of 1p a share.

But a placebo may work in a trial when people don’t know its a placebo and just think its an active drug. What happens in the real world when people are told or realise they are just being given a placebo with no active drug component? Will people still want to use and buy a placebo then? One simple comparison study with KY Warming or Durex play Warming/Tingle is all that is now needed to see if MED3000 has any real Product differentiation from what’s already on the market. I did also see another company in America working on a Topical Sildenafil. I also saw they are a working on a female version. Some may remember when Futura had the FLD500 which was dropped https://strategicscience.com/Topical-Sildenafil-ED.html
