One problem is that many men have a partner who is a turn off. I have a gorgeous young Pinay so only here to make money from other's misfortunes.
Good luck all.

Again not entirely accurate. Med2002 was also available on prescription and even be reimbursed by the NHS. But then it was proven in FM57 not to work much better then the placebo Eroxon. Is Eroxon on prescription even being reimbursed by the NHS?

I think enabling it to go on prescription proves it works.
Even if it worked in say 50% of men that's still a potential one billion annual turnover

Must be very hard to muster any enthusiasm and joy as a bear on this board at the moment ...amazing how you both pop up perfectly in sync 1 minute apart...you both needing a lot of mutual support I guess as the arguments fall away one by one...

There would seem to be rather a lot of guesswork within your post and not so much logic or 'dyor' as you put it. Perhaps your enthusiasm got the better of you in the moment. :-)

“My GP said my problem was stress related rather than anything physical, and would resolve itself’

‘The main component of Eroxon is ethanol, a form of alcohol, which isn’t new at all’

Eroxon Is Not a Medication?

No. Because it lacks an active ingredient, the FDA granted MED3000 a CE mark at the end of the trial, which classifies it as a medical device not a medication. Thats important because in European markets, medical devices dont have to show any sort of improvement in symptoms; they just have to meet specific safety standards.

In other words, the CE mark proves only that Eroxon is safe, not that it works.

An old article but with this now available on prescription it clearly works otherwise it wouldn't have been approved

No dount all the medical professionals on this thread can put me straight but Eroxon's main rival in the NHS is sildenfal generic (not branded viagra).

Cialis is longer lasting but much more expensive and very hard to obtain via NHS (according to Superdrug).

Cialis - 4 tablets £40 at superdrug

Sildenafil - 4 tablets for £15 at superdrug (generic) and £35 branded viagra

NHS MHRA data shows that 22% of patients initiated on sildenafil by their GP go on to swap to another ED treatment within the year after first starting sildenafil.

Superdrug notes sildenfall only works for 76% men at the outset.

So 24% men have an immediate need for an alternative ED product and 22% men have a need for an alternative within a year once Sildenafil fails to work.

Both sets of data supports the view that the market opportunity may be in the range of a quarter of the ED sufferers globally, subject to distribution and the experience in other countries matches those via NHS

The other important point is over pricing. If Eroxon can keep the pricing in the range of 4-6 quid per use (£5 I think on Amazon) and no doubt will be cheaper for bulk buying via NHS then we can in theory protect profit margins without needing to discount etc- all this needs to be confirmed in the annual report in April.

Until then we are all relying on logic/guesswork. dyor etc

MDI, did you call your partner a placebo on their valentine's day - you seem to spend more time about the concept than anyone I have ever met on this platform - perhaps everything to you in life is not the real thing :)

Would it be ethical to prescribe Eroxon and not point out to your patients its only made of alcohol and water and has no clinically proven efficacy beyond a placebo gel in any studies?hTtps://democratherald.com/lifestyles/columnists/to-your-good-health-eroxon-cream-is-safe-to-use-for-ed-but-is-only/article_1a0819f0-9530-11ee-9eda-375037cb677c.htmlI know that many men are willing to do almost anything to treat erectile dysfunction. I am also supportive of the placebo response when it is used ethically. However, I have a hard time recommending paying $100 for a compound that was designed and tested as a placebo, even if 37% of men will find some benefit from

"NHS spends around £100 million a year on viagra and cialis"

But takeiteasy was asserting a figure of £13m just a few days ago. A bit of a difference. Which is it chaps?

"I am upgrading my price target to 200p"

Have you forgotten, you were punting 200p a while ago, so it can't be an upgrade, can it?

Harald, why do you keep contradicting yourself? I'm not going to accuse you of shorting or anything, in fact I agree that a note of caution should be aired when a bandwagon seems to appear. However, you have made these statements:

'We have cut the price of eroxon to £19.99 much cheaper than Boots and have not sold any'

'what I said was people would go into a different shop to buy it'

So why aren't people from outside your area coming into your shop to buy it, especially as it's cheaper? Either your logic is flawed or your shop doesn't have any customers for some reason. Can you explain this anomaly?

Within three months of its launch, Viagra had already earned Pfizer $400m, and over the past two decades, it has consistently generated annual sales to the tune of $1.8bn.We only need a small slice of this. An easy ten bagger

GP lives around the corner so it's no big deal to chat with him.

The bears on this thread have now moved on from it's a placebo which has been done to the nth to - well you may have some good link ups now and distribution channels but do not think for all plethora of reasons you will get many sales.

A good start is to try the product yourself and speak to people who actually think it will work and speak to the manager of the local boots store etc. Never ever rely on a BB for primary information ...lols.

At least I think we have also moved on from debating how many reviews are fake :)

lol, I'm not a subscriber so you can keep your paranoia, but I'd be amazed if there are more than a handful of GP prescriptions in a full year, if that. Edit: takeiteasy, as above, I'm fairly sure of the response.,

I know a local GP who oversees now 7 local practices and he is well read and always up with the latest so will speak to him over the next week or two for his take - but agree with you on lack of side effects etc

You can always sniff a Share Prophets concert party type or follower, whether or not it is the topic of the day. They are always camped on ADVFN as other boards chuck them off. it is riddled with groups imho. They have an uncanny ability to extract anything negative from any documentation and ignore the positives. It is blindingly obvious that one of the reasons the product is gaining traction is the lack of side effects as compared to viagra etc, which the GP's will be duty bound to acknowledge.
