MDI if you had put nitroglycerine into someone's manhood you would then have popped up a list of the serious side effects you can take from google and say it was too risky a product.

You have to nuance all this a lot more.

Are you someone who will never get an erection via whatever approach?

Are you someone that needs to use the blue pill and eroxon?

Are you someone who can substitute eroxon for the blue pill?

Stats show for the majority of the clients that it is suitable for eg 60% are happy.

You need to stratify data by client type to have any meaningful point to make.

I note you never come back on my points every single time I knock you back - you simply regurgitate another point.

In the only fully published study. Only 37% of Eroxon recipients were satisfied with their experience.

Two trials have been completed, but only one was published. In the published trial, the results showed that the results for the active drug were only marginally better than a placebo, with about 37% of placebo recipients being satisfied with their experience versus 48% in those who received the active drug.

This means that about one man out of nine who used the active drug found it more helpful than a placebo. It also means that most people who were satisfied with the results were having a placebo response, but still, it worked. It was safe to use and worked quickly, within 10 minutes.

The company then decided to market the placebo compound itself as Eroxon, which does not contain nitroglycerine or any compound that is expected to have a pharmacologic effect, although the company suggests that the “evaporative effect” of the cream may stimulate nerve endings, without any data to support this.

FTC/FDA performance obligations relate to the use of the product by the customer and whether the firm is putting out claims that are correctlty framed and can be understood by the customer - hence my comment above. How on earth you are linking this to a performance obligation from Haleon is baffling and misleading as ever....

‘The FTC and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) share jurisdiction over the marketing of dietary supplements, foods, drugs, devices, and other health-related products.

Read about the ‘performance obligations’ which means the Haleon payment is actually a ‘contract liability’ until its ‘key performance obligation, which is expected to be met in 2024’? A blind placebo controlled study? Haleon are in a win win. If Eroxon fails in that blind study then they prove their own placebo hydroalcoholic gel works too and can ask for their upfront payment back from Futura.

‘upfront milestone payment which is to be recognised as a Contract Liability until satisfaction of the performance obligations. The key performance obligation, which is expected to be met in 2024’

MDI - Why would a tier 1 Pharma pay $4miilon upfront plus royalites, milestones and fund all the marketing for something they could just do themselves for nothing ?

Unfortunately no evidence exists that the non medicated ‘Dermasys’ hydroalcoholic gel works any better then using any other non medicated hydroalcoholic gel. Others have already shown that it was proved years ago any non medicated placebo hydroalcoholic gel can have effects on improving Erectile function.

Men were first treated with tadalafil 10 mg once a day (OAD) for 4 weeks; if not successful, they were randomized in a double-blind, placebo-controlled design to receive placebo or a 1% hydroalcoholic T gel (50 mg/5 g gel)

Erectile function progressively improved over a period of at least 12 weeks in both the placebo and T treatment groups.

Dermsys is the base product and in the early days, FUM added a drug to dermasys for ED.

Unusally for the Phase III trail the authorities made FUM use dermasys as the plecebo. Normally they would have used another inert gel product

When the test was released it appeared that dermasys worked the same as with the added drug. Which was it worked in 60% of males. Hence why it appears that it was the same as a placebo

As they didn't need to use the added "drug" it allowed FUM to proceed down the current route without having to do any extra tests.

Although the FDA made FUM do some other testing on African Americans and that it worked over a period of time. From this test FUM also found that the longer they used the product the better the erection

Class 2 medical device gels like Eroxon are are not tested to the same standards as drugs like Cialis. And a De Novo medical device grant and authorized for marketing is not the same as FDA drug approval.

See the full FDA letter to Futura dated June 9 2023 which the FDA have published.

Dear Ken James:

Page 3

˜Please be advised that FDA's decision to grant this De Novo request does not mean that FDA has made a determination that your device complies with other requirements of the FD&C Act or any Federal statutes and regulations administered by other Federal agencies’

Eroxon Is Not a Medication?

No. Because it lacks an active ingredient, the FDA granted MED3000 a CE mark at the end of the trial, which classifies it as a medical device — not a medication. That’s important because in European markets, medical devices don’t have to show any sort of improvement in symptoms; they just have to meet specific safety standards.

In other words, the CE mark proves only that Eroxon is safe, not that it works.
