Thanks Taffy100

Great news that a major brand like Altec Lansing is using Minuet.

Feeling very positive now, at long last! :-)

Good grammar.

The fact that such news doesn't encourage even the remotest interest, highlights how much this management team have still to do to convince Mr Market.

Encouraging, nevertheless.

Poor show by the BoD. Unlike them, PIs won't have someone else picking up the hotel bill for the previous night.

Such an early start is disrespectful, as they know how inconvenient it is for PIs travelling. AGMs should start at 11 with some lunch to follow, even if it just sandwiches and coffee.

However, as I said before, it is the IIs they will care about if 2017 is another loss maker. This is the year of no excuses. If I can get past my breakeven point they can hold the AGM at midnight next year!

Despite my protestations last year, and Martin Knight's acknowledgement, they ignored my, and several other requests for a later start.... "The Company's Annual General Meeting will be held at 09:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 9 May 2017 at the offices of Buchanan, 107 Cheapside, London EC2V 6DN."

They really don't want to deal with us PIs at all, though I'm not entirely surprised given the esteem in which most of us seem to hold them.

Drewster, if they do not deliver then the IIs may well replace them. That is what the executives will have in the back of their minds. They no longer have the excuse of the health division holding them back.

My dreams of big profits back in the Sensium days are over. A modest profit is my goal now. If it gets to £2 I will sell all or most of my stake. I think that is a reasonable target if connected audio does well and delivers value. The current share price is based on past performance rather than future prospects.

But have the current management team got what it takes to turn all of these design wins into shareholder returns?

To date they have done precisely nothing to indicate they are capable of delivering.

If they get to a situation where they have only destroyed 60% (currently c.78%) of shareholder value since taking over at the top table, their personal gains are substantial. Certainly not in line with shareholders on the register when they took over.

I'd much sooner see them replaced.

"Fat cat salaries are life, pay or let you staff get poached by others who will, that's life."Sadly it's not the staff who are the fat cats. It's always the Exec.We all know the gap between staff and Execs has got massively wider over the past decade. Staff includes middle management and technicians. It is the middle management and general staff who do all of the daily grunt work and long hours.I would like to know the average salaries and bonuses of staff (ex Directors) at FS. It's a high tech company so you would expect salaries to reflect this.

I agree with Monty, there is scope for optimism. DAB is going global, the UK digital radio switchover threshold is in sight and we are seeing Google home products starting to ship.

With Sensium sold, for all my misgivings, its losses no longer apply. This is the year when FST can really start to deliver. If not, I am sure the IIs will begin to question the executives' remuneration packages in the context of their performance.

O/T momentous day today, with the triggering of Article 50. FWIW, I think this could be the start of an amazing future for the country in the long term and could open up huge new markets, which will only help firms like FST that deal internationally.

'venty, we'll have to agree to differ. I am merely an embittered shareholder. You, Sir, sound like an embittered nephew of your favourite uncle Anthony with a grudge against Sir HY ;)

Obviously all businesses have risks, but they can be significantly reduced by competent management doing what they are paid excessively to do and remembering that they exist only to maximise returns for their shareholders instead of greedily thinking only of themselves.

Given that you consider your FST shareholding as an investment, and not a gift to AS & JA, I am confused by your logic...or lack of it. You can take cheap shots at Sir HY & me, but you haven't provided any evidence that AS & JA are worth keeping or paying.

BTW, your red thumbs down was not from me. It was probably meant for me from the pathetically inept Jilted Johnny Allen Dorftrottel Troll on the IMG board that several of us have stepped on & have stuck to the bottom of our shoes ;)

Good luck with your investments & I hope that you & Chilly might yet turn out to be right about our mumbling Dear Leader!

When Sethill had the power base:

FS ye2010 Reported Profit £2.245m

Fat cat salaries are life, pay or let you staff get poached by others who will, that's life.

What if the fat cat salaries continue to rise?Or, quite likely, they lavish rewards on themselves as shares, options or warrants.
