20/3/2017 09:21 | Nice to see TD have FST valued at zero this morning! You'd think the Corporate Action team(s) would be a little more on the ball to ISIN changes. | the drewster
18/3/2017 06:46 | Quite a few reasons to believe a re-rating is due. Not least they should be turning casflow positive on an ongoing basis from this month onwards. Let's hope we soon get rated at 6-7× sales like IMG! That would meet a >5x appreciation in price. | monty panesar

17/3/2017 20:12 | FRONTIER DANCES OFF WITH THREE US DEALS FOR ITS MINUET TECHNOLOGY 17 March, 2017 - 19:30 By Kate Sweeney Frontier dances off with three US deals for its Minuet technology Frontier Silicon, a Cambridge UK provider of consumer audio technologies, says its Minuet technology platform has been chosen by three US brands – Brookstone, Jensen and SŌLIS – to power nine new smart audio devices with Chromecast built-in. CEO Anthony Sethill says that more design wins are due to be unveiled by Frontier in the near future. Chromecast built-in is a pioneering audio platform which enables smart speakers to stream via Wi-Fi over 150 online music services, such as Spotify, Pandora and iHeartRadio. Frontier Silicon is one of a very small number of solution providers chosen by Google to work on this technology. Frontier’s Minuet design platform provides a complete toolkit for brands and manufacturers to develop smart audio devices with Chromecast built-in quickly and cost-effectively. The business recently updated its software, so all these products work with the Google Assistant, i.e. they can be controlled using voice via a Google Home device. Brookstone is a leading US speciality retailer, which is using Minuet to power four new wireless speakers in the company’s Big Blue range. Brookstone has over 200 North American stores offering a wide range of products in entertainment, wellness and travel categories. The second brand is Jensen, which Spectra launched at CES last January – with two Bluetooth/Wi-Fi Wireless Stereo Smart Speakers with Chromecast built-in, the JSB-1000 and JSB-2000. The third brand is newcomer SŌLIS, also launched by Spectra at CES in January. This new brand targets the audiophile market with products inspired by iconic, retro designs. Under the tagline of “leaves no note unheard”, SŌLIS is launching three wireless stereo smart speakers with Chromecast built-in. Anthony Sethill said: “Smart audio represents a significant opportunity for Frontier. Brookstone, Jensen and SŌLIS are leading innovators in this sector. By combining our audio technology expertise, our relationship with Google and our experience of working with leading audio brands and their manufacturers, we have helped deliver an unrivalled range of smart audio speakers. We expect to be announcing further design wins shortly" | krr13
17/3/2017 20:07 | Some big names. Everyone will be looking for the forward statements in the results next week. I presume some of these recently announced deals were already factored into projections but I'm looking for a decent increase in the bottom line revenue from the smart audio solutions. | krr13
17/3/2017 19:15 | FST already supply Bose so I expect them to be announced in due course. 16/3/2017 09:29 | "Global smart audio business Frontier Silicon has turned to Cambridge UK neighbour Coderus to launch a new technology play." ? what does a new technology play mean ? I must be getting old :( | nod

15/3/2017 17:54 | Cheer up sweenoid, some good news is better then none! The fact this announcement has come in advance of the results makes me hopeful that further news may be on the cards; we can but hope. Looks like the Ides of March was not so grim after all. PS. IMG is starting to look interesting. A small investment might be on the cards again and a return to the IMG board. Is Rob Evans still around? His insight was always worth a read. | life of crime
15/3/2017 11:02 | brookstone is a high profile name in the US. | twatcher
15/3/2017 08:59 | The good news is any sales from minuet will fall straight to the bottom line...even paying for the directors salaries. | monty panesar
15/3/2017 08:06 | Google Home will explore in the next 2 years...and all the tech experts are saying it. | chillpill
15/3/2017 08:00 | Well its a start, can't argue with that, but the 'names' are not exactly earth shattering are they, I can't be positive here unless we get some BIG names on board S | sweenoid
15/3/2017 07:25 | I've said it for a while. People don't comprehend the scale of the Chromecast opportunity. They are one of 3 providers and likely to have over 50% of the market. It will dwarf the DAB market. Sit back and chillax. | chillpill
15/3/2017 07:24 | Hope this is the start of a good year | dickiebird2
15/3/2017 07:12 | Great news. Finally starting to see new business. Sounds like more to come. Partnered with some big names in the smart audio business. | krr13
14/3/2017 14:11 | If the CEO and CFO do not start delivering this year then their remuneration will be under serious scrutiny, especially by the IIs. Enjoy the Cheltenham Festival! | life of crime
13/3/2017 16:50 | All this dirty talk of "profit" and "cashflow positive" is turning me on ;) | iamnoone
13/3/2017 16:06 | The dirty words "Profit" and "Cashflow Positive" (after the extortionate salaries) will be very good to read. | the drewster
13/3/2017 14:58 | Just remember that they have to sell a significant number of modules just to cover the salaries of Sethill and Apps :-( 24th should clarify matters for the short- medium term, some 'clarity' woukd be welcome here. | sweenoid
13/3/2017 09:04 | Those mm's a bit short me thinks. | chillpill
13/3/2017 08:57 | Get ready to rumble! Google Home being launched in UK in June. I expect a big ramp up in compatible speaker products for Xmas 2017 market. Unless competition has some in left of field for DAB that market looks to be doing really well. Just look at news on World DAB. | chillpill |
