10/2/2017 11:11 | CP, interesting comments but do you have any evidence for your last assertion? "only a mega corporation will have the resource to commercialize it...sad but true." Could it be that AS & JA botched everything related to Sensium - funding, planning, research, product development, marketing? Did they ever get it working well enough to sell? Given that we have over 3 miilion in cash, was it absolutely necessary to give it away for a paltry 1 million? Was it possible to hold on to it & just mothball it until all of these supposed Minuet riches come rolling in? I'm sorry but I would like to see AS & JA apologise profusely and account for every penny of the raised funds that they squandered. Exactly how much did it cost for the 'advisors' (AS & JA should have paid for these out of their own pockets!) who basically recommended giving it away for a pittance, why did AS & JA wait 3 years until all hope was lost, and why are we still registered in the Caymans? I would like JA to explain exactly how it would cost 'hundreds of thousands' to change and why they didn't do it when we became FST. | birkenhead
10/2/2017 10:08 | One big mistake was placing hope in the NHS to take Sensium to market. That was plain stupid. If they had ditched Sensium 3 years ago there would have been much greater shareholder value left now. It was draining around £7m in cash every year and caused the majority of the share dilution. It will be interesting to see how many years it will take the new owners to make a profit out of it. Great technology but only a mega corporation will have the resource to commercialize it...sad but true. | chillpill
10/2/2017 06:57 | B, I stand by my prediction...my timeline is the end of this year. The only thing that has changed is that Google delayed the launch of Google Home so it almost missed the Xmas 2016 market. The positive is that sales of the Echo in particular should mean a big ramp up of companion products during 2017. Sit back and chillax!😎 | chillpill
09/2/2017 10:23 | Er, IMG 260 to 280 and TMZ 3.2 to below 2……any more syntax & prediction gems for us? chillpill - 23 Sep 2016 TOUMAZ holdings ---- 2013 thread - TMZ “Logic says short IMG and be long TMZ over next 6 months but the do I know!” chillpill - 27 Sep 2016 TOUMAZ holdings ---- 2013 thread - TMZ “I think there results were about clearing the decks for the future. I Minuet excitement should only just about to start.” | birkenhead
09/2/2017 09:34 | Very condescending but where is your evidence? | birkenhead
09/2/2017 09:00 | Birkenhead. I don't think you understand the way institutional buying works. In stocks of this size they sit in the background and soak up any loose stock. When there is good news and a few buyers come in there is no stock around and the price starts to move up. | chillpill
09/2/2017 07:40 | A few crumbs of hope for shareholders below. Wouldn't it be nice if AS was turfed out on his ear again (saving more than 300,000+ pounds a year) and replaced by the dynamic Patrick (who responds to shareholders' emails even when on holiday, unlike AS who rudely & callously ignores shareholder requests to justify his options piggery!)? 08/2/2017 10:04 | chillpill...utter bollix. Carefully managed only to the extent of extracting maximum ill-gotten gains for AS & JA so that the price dropped from over 3p/120p as TMZ to under 2p/80p as FST! Where is your evidence for a large buyer? If there was one, the price would not be 80p! Mr. Market has perfect visibility for FST & has seen right through the vacuous waffle of two insatiably greedy parasites who have destroyed our company. There may be a possibility of eventually repairing some of the damage to the share price, but it would happen a lot quicker without AS & JA's obscene salaries & 6% dilution for their totally undeserved options. Where are the contracts, products & sales? Where are the PROFIT forecasts? How exactly are Amazon & Apple 'customers & partners'? How is FST going to make any money with the negotiating prowess AS & JA have demonstrated by giving away Sensium & failing to make a profit with 80% of the DAB market? | birkenhead
08/2/2017 09:21 | The change from toumaz to FST has been carefully managed..including a large buyer in the background. The company has much better visibility than many think. | chillpill
07/2/2017 13:23 | ‘On 6 February 2017, it granted options to senior management over 2.5 million Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 5.85% of the current issued share capital.’ AS 750,000 JA 370,000 Total: 1.12 million of 2.5 million for AS & JA Once again the 2 greedy piggies have hogged far too much of the 6% dilution of shareholders' investments for themselves. Just look at TDs figures for the raised money that they squandered before their 'Duh, sh*t, the money's run out so let's pay a fortune to advisors and give Sensium away' satori. How on earth could they have even contemplated granting themselves options (oh, I’m sorry there’s an ‘independent' remuneration committee!) when they should have followed Trevor Nicholls’ lead? This is the kind of statement that was required with AS’ paltry director dealings: "The Board unanimously felt that it is right to strongly align the executives' rewards with those of shareholders. Therefore, the executive directors have AGREED TO SLASH THEIR BLOATED SALARIES AND waived their involvement in the annual performance bonus awards in favour of longer term equity driven value. This reflects the confidence we have in the future value of the FST technology and the team's commitment to delivering it to shareholders." TBH, I would like to see AS, JA & the ‘independent | birkenhead
07/2/2017 12:13 | Interesting that the CEO buys shares in what should be a close period one month and 7 days after the year end. He is absolutely in possession of the draft results for the year, so has inside knowledge. One to watch from a governance perspective. I also agree with the comments that the issue of such a large number of options is outrageous after destroying so much value in the business. | 1activeinvestor
07/2/2017 11:44 | Feb 2012 - 128,000,000 shares issued at 8.25p (210p now) raised £11.2m July 2012 - 283,500,000 shares issued at 10.25p (to buy Frontier - effectively 410p now) raised £29.5m November 2013 - 442,500,000 shares issued at 4p (the new taxing 160p share price target) to raise £17.7m | the drewster
07/2/2017 11:11 | The BOD award themselves 6% of the company they are supposed to be running for the benefit of the shareholders and yet they have never ever made a profit in 10 years. How much cash have they raised in that time ??? Why don't they just raise some more cash and state quite openly that it is to pay themselves some more. Where are all the deals they were promising. Where is all the information as to how well they are doing. One thing is obvious, if Sethill can buy shares there are no deals in the pipeline. | s0lis
07/2/2017 08:42 | So they have four years to get the share-price to a point where they will have only destroyed 60% (rather than the current 80%) of shareholder value since they took office? And if they do, they can have nearly 6% of the company. Almost lost for words. | the drewster
07/2/2017 08:37 | Sweenoid, The said the had increased optimism 2 weeks ago: "we are now fully focused on our DAB and Smart Audio technologies and view 2017 with increased optimism." They couldn't be too optimistic as they wanted to buy more shares for themselves and dish out a few options! | monty panesar
07/2/2017 08:29 | Options that only vest if the share price doubles is positive. The more I read about Google Home/Amazon Echo the more it seems it is going to be the way forward...even if I'm not sure if it is for me quite yet. | monty panesar
07/2/2017 08:05 | Fair does, a nice buy, not huge but he didn't ,have, to Also price where that nice options package kicks in are totally incentivising There is obviously more optimism at HQ than has previously been communicated to PI's S | sweenoid
07/2/2017 07:44 | A bit of an incentive to get the share price doubled I suppose. A decent buy from CEO. | krr13
02/2/2017 16:15 | I see the share price is still stuck around 78p. I think that is a good time to remind everyone today is Groundhog Day! | life of crime
01/2/2017 18:37 | DAB sales boost post FM shutdown in Norway. FST don't play in the DAB auto factory fit market but they do support some auto post-fit adaptors I believe and the majority of the non-auto sales. http://www.cfmediavi | felix1
31/1/2017 13:53 | I guess my breakeven is lower. Anyway, the IIs are the only shareholders that can change corporate governance. Hopefully they are running out of patience with the firm too and recognise the excuses have to stop this year. | life of crime
31/1/2017 11:51 | Drewster :- Frontier Silicon is all we have left, so he better do a damn site better job this time, or he can add "getting sacked from the same job twice" to his stunning list of achievements. Do you know why he got sacked the first time? | piscadela |
