16/5/2017 07:36 | Welcome news this morning on the PS4 launch for Elite. | hastings
13/5/2017 13:21 | Planet Coaster nominated in 5 categories at the Develop awards (search for Frontier) | m4ybe
13/5/2017 12:35 | Very difficult to value FDEV in a conventional way Nurdin, particularly as they are funding new games such as the the current under development third and potentially very exciting one. The other point that is crucial for me, is that the existing games are developed and commercialised for longevity via various additions. Sure, numbers will fluctuate, but as the portfolio of franchises builds there should come a marked tipping point. I don't feel FDEV is currently overvalued in contrast to other international gaming oompanies and on a risk/reward very happy to sit tight. I also think the fact that they are moving into brand new and larger premises at the end of the year demonstrates genuine confidence as opposed to say vanity. As the previous post pointed out the recent sales had been flagged and relate to a divorce settlement and I rather read more into Charles Cotton's purchases. | hastings
13/5/2017 12:21 | Thanks for your feedback guys....(I am assuming you are all guys..:o) ) | nurdin
13/5/2017 12:10 | Costs aren't likely to rise as fast as revenue imo, as it's difficult to hire programmers, unlike server capacity etc which is easy to expand with growth. So sales growth can largely go straight into profit hence margins rising. | m4ybe
13/5/2017 12:07 | Yes nurdin it's very uncertain year to year, games can hit or miss. So far the current franchises have been hits and seem likely to stay at or near the top of their genres for years to come. They will feed the profits into new franchises so it's organic fast growth with the realistic possibility of earning their market cap in sales in a fairly short period of time. I think the risk reward still favourable given the growth rate they might also achieve and the PE ratios that can come with that. I don't think it's too late, and the momentum is allowing forced sellers to step aside. I might add a little more myself on Monday. | m4ybe
13/5/2017 12:05 | nurdin, yesterdays rns was expected. See rns dated 26 April I haven't followed the holdings notices precisely, but think that may be the last of Gillian Walsh's shares. I guess there may be a few more to come from David Walsh. Since the earlier rns about this matter the share price has increased. | bamboo2
13/5/2017 10:52 | CC must have a bit of spare change floating about to buy £200K's worth. | astralvision
13/5/2017 10:41 | I appear to have missed the boat here! However cant make head or tail of brokers forecasts (Rev £36.2m,EPS 2.8P) against recent trading updates or more importantly the H1 results. They did 6.4p on a fully adjusted basis then so I can only surmise the brokers are expecting heavy capitalisation costs in H2. Anyway have only just started looking at the financials so quite green here. However am rapidly coming to the conclusion that there are too many unknowns/variables here to make sensible forecasts on the year end outcome or indeed the future.Strikes me that the only sensible metric to compare year on year performance and valuation for that matter, is EV/EBITDA, but probably not many will agree with me. The RNS posted after hours yesterday is also a bit worrying but could possibly provide an opportunity to jump on board.Lets see. | nurdin
12/5/2017 08:50 | It's noteworthy for an NED to be so keen on his company's shares - Charles Cotton has now bought around £200,000 of FDEV shares in the last couple of weeks. | rivaldo
11/5/2017 21:55 | dont post much these days but still here ... glad to see the market has woken up to this. ED with its history david braben is what he is and the market fdev target was always risk vs reward positive to me. Back to lurking :) | eelanguilla
11/5/2017 19:43 | miked500, I tipped myself a few days ago. ;o) | bamboo2

09/5/2017 11:25 | He seems to have a real taste for the shares. I'm not expecting any surprises in the year end numbers, so i take it as a sign that operationally things are progressing nicely. | makw61

09/5/2017 08:49 | Charles Cotton is still busy accumulating. Another 6k yesterday which followed 10k on May 3rd and 35k in late April. | cfro
