04/4/2017 13:08 | Highest closing share price was 312.5p on 12/01/17, so very very close to breaking north of that. | astralvision

03/4/2017 14:56 | Agreed, i always take particular comfort from the finance guy stumping up his own money. Perhaps he's been playing that game they're making also? | makw61
03/4/2017 14:43 | Good to see the new CFO buying £44,000 of shares last week - that's a decent commitment for a CFO in the open market. | rivaldo

28/3/2017 15:53 | Yup i think we all hope and believe it's FB, but that's why i'm wary of confirmation bias creeping in. I'm kind of surprised there's a playable game there already given that something based on FB seems likely to be a pretty different type of game to ED and PC. encouraged of course that they're making progress on it. 28/3/2017 14:34 | Fantastic Beasts. We've had some posts along those lines a while back. | p1nkfish
28/3/2017 10:13 | Good spot, ck111. Intriguing that he mentions J K Rowling; i don't generally believe in coincidences but maybe i'm just indulging in some sort of confirmation bias? Encouraging also that he has been busy playing "another game we're making". That sounds more advanced than i'd anticipated but maybe they needed something to demo in order to secure the licence so things are further along than i'd thought? not sure what that implies for the type of game (if anything!). Well, fun to speculate and hopefully some news on PS4 release date soon and then a business update towards end of May. ATB | makw61
27/3/2017 20:36 | Interview with David Braben here: www.gamesradar.com/d Dont know if his mention of J K Rowling is coincidence or not. Maybe because he has been busy playing "another game we’re making" with her stories/characters? | ck1111
20/3/2017 13:55 | Great new review of Elite and summary of discussions about the game with FDEV: Conclusion: "My time with Elite Dangerous at the show and in particular my chats with the developers has opened my eyes to this game, I had not jumped into it in the past, but have since started playing on PC and will explore the PS4 version once it is available. It is clear from my playtime and the sheer passion from the devs that there is something special in this game that evokes a sense of discovery and ownership of the universe that even great titles like Wing Commander and Freespace did not achieve. One of my favorite Space Sim titles was Wing Commander Privateer due to the freedom to play as you want. Elite Dangerous has tapped into that freedom but added mechanics, gameplay, scenarios and a truly organic galaxy that pulls you into the game and universe in a way I was not expecting but greatly appreciate." | rivaldo
17/3/2017 17:35 | The consistent buying of last few days is still going including 4000 @ 300p bought at cop today. GI - do you think it is mainly one person? | ck1111
16/3/2017 22:35 | Should be updated every 6 months. | p1nkfish
16/3/2017 20:18 | I think the only legal requirement on listing all the top shareholders is to disclose a list in the Directors' Report section of the annual report and accounts which would be Aug/Sept. The usual rules apply around disclosing stakes when they go under/over 3% and any full % increments up or down above 3%. i'm surprised we haven't seen anything given some big trades of late. A 3% stake is around 1m shares so there may be some stakebuilding below that but not sure where those shares have come? | makw61
16/3/2017 16:28 | Does anybody know when the top shareholders list of FDEV is updated. | thegaminginvestor
15/3/2017 19:38 | Hi ck1111, my hunch is that the current generation of consoles lack the horsepower for PC, but happy to be proved wrong of course. It would be strange though if Frontier develop any franchise that doesn't ultimately cater to consoles, and indeed VR, but it may take the hardware a little while to catch up. I have seen some comments that PC would be difficult to play with a controller as opposed to mouse/keyboard but not sure that is true - it isn't for ED and that's a pretty complex game i would suggest. I'm no expert on consoles btw so maybe the latest PS iteration can cope, although i'm led to believe that the Cobra engine ports much easier to Xbox than to PS so 2017 may be a stretch? ATB | makw61
15/3/2017 17:27 | PC for consoles could be another late 2017 option makw61? | ck1111
15/3/2017 13:54 | Thanks bamboo. A tight hold for me. | p1nkfish
15/3/2017 12:19 | I wonder if they will do any paid DLCs for PC or if the strategy is to entice people with cool free updates to buy the game. | thegaminginvestor
15/3/2017 11:36 | The PS4 version of Elite:Dangerous gets good comments/reviews here: And there's a spring update for Planet Coaster out soon: | rivaldo
15/3/2017 08:47 | hi p1nkfish, finally catching up with charts. The b/o here yesterday caught my attention. An eod close above 290 is the first step on the way to taking on the previous high, and historical resistance at approx 320. Once this is surpassed I have pattern based tp's of 345[bowl] to 385[mm]. cannot display charts at the moment. | bamboo2
15/3/2017 00:07 | Interesting, looks like tight supply of stock. | p1nkfish |
