Ok we have had to have permission from both Majors for FRR to mention they were in a NDA agreement and the Nomad would have to see the agreement to allow todays RNS. This and YJ mentioned that a SH meeting was on the cards this month indicates to me that an announcement is close (or what will all the questions be at the meeting be who, when, how much and not much else) the meaning will be tied to the NDA terms. If it was for an AGM that could have been delayed due to extenuating circumstances. News is close and will be transforming for the company (and SHs)

Fozzie, as I understand things FRR have a right to connect into the export pipelines so no real need to suck up to Socar, and similarly Georgia has long term agreements in place to take Azeri gas in lieu of a transit fee so whilst being neighbourly it has no need to scratch Azeri backs over the development of its own hydrocarbon resources. Also Exxon and Repsol are partnered elsewhere so it seems to be the dream team to me.

The nature of any deal with the majors will dictate what it's worth to FRR shareholders. Impossible to put a value on it until more is known, but I expect FRR to step aside as operator and earn a decent revenue share as well as an upfront payment. They might well then offer their younger staff the opportunity to work in Moldova and perhaps the Ukraine longer term.

Fozzer i also think its Exxon Whilst these discussions are at an early stage, they have taken a significant step forward with both interested parties having attended extended site surveys and management meetings.  As a result of these discussions and to assist with data analysis, the Company has been conducting extended well tests to better establish production capabilitiesSee how logs emphasis was at an early stage he missed the rest of the quote they have taken a significant step forward with both interested parties having attended extended site surveys and management meetings. I think that when Exxon visited in April it was at Ud2 game on

Basically bankrupt but it's all far fetched he will get chance to close out before that happens but then again its only like the bulls holding onto their shares and missing a rise

10b in debt? Wow put's our tiny debt into perspective.

The NSA CPR thinks we could have over 10tcf recoverable.

I'll take a 10b handshake from Exxon, that's 50p a share.

Loggy, what happens to your short if FRR suspends and gets taken out for 50p share?

Just got off the phone to IG broker and he said if you open shorts on their accounts and for example frr suspends it share pending a buyout and then gaps up 1000% you are liable for the losses and no stop losses can be triggered and they will collect the account deficit through a reasonable manner only other way out would be to declare bankruptcy so shorters bewareReminder what happens Fozzer

Well we know why the tweets went quiet and we know why Zaza bought more at 0.58 when he knew about Ud2. We've all been scratching our heads wondering how FRR was going to enter Ukraine and Moldova and I think we now have the answer. A lump sum payment from Exxon would kick things off for starters. Hell, Exxon may even follow FRR into Ukraine a few years later.

US foreign policy has largely been based on oil and Gas security, control and dollars being used as the currency to trade in oil since the 2nd world war. We now know why tiny old FRR have major US political support because Exxon are waiting in the shadows.

Ducks starting to line up.

0.80- 1p top slice target
3p exit price target.

Just a point of view.

My thinking with Socar was that it would keep Georgia's regional allies in Azer sweet and that Socar will have good regional knowledge and it could make sense to make Azer and Georgia one giant Caucasus energy hub.

I'm more certain the other Major is Exxon, the USA will want in for both monetary and political reasons besides the timing with Exxon in Georgia and the Ud2 testing was just too much of a coincidence.

Just to add to the mix, Schlumberger are currently drilling Georgia's first new deep gas well since independence from the USSR. A discovery there will certainly strengthen Frontera's hand in negotiations.

With oil prices high and Exxon's CEO clearly stating he see's acquisitions as the way forward doing a deal with FRR could make sense. Exxon bought XTO (Another Texan based company) out a few years for $41 billion.

Any ideas from anyone what a JV or deal could be worth to FRR? Got to be at least a few billion especially with the 400m cost recovery pool.

2 billion bucks is tiny for Exxon and would be worth about 10p+ shareholders for FRR.

This reminds me of GKP with the political aspect and the big numbers.
Look what happened there when EXXON was looking.
Bit different here as they denied it on the day.
What about the chinese.?

Bought zip of these and never shorted 1 as my platform does not trade these micros . Whilst the gain is great it's only for the few who bought in the 0.2s . Most are at a loss here . Am not as mine were sold as posted live last year . I rarely trust these spikes . History tells us they are all to be sold into . All far too speculative and I have followed this for 10 years . Remember that the buy at 0.07p signal came from me last year in mid August on iii . Wrote why and clearly explained the trade . Same goes for me exits . Which kicked off loads of anger as I was right . No profits for 2018 as I had anticipated vs Symore Bottoms and the brigade of daily story tellers . Each to their own but I sense most FRR shareholders are underwater at 0.4 . They are kings of speculative RNS .

What about 2 Majors working together on this.
Could be another 2 after they hear the news here.
