Not a lot cos they been struggling with costs the last couple of years, but divi policy is…

“A total dividend of between 33-50 per cent of profit after tax is paid out each year in approximate proportion of one-third to be paid as an interim dividend, two-thirds to be paid as a final dividend”

If we get a silver/gold bull run, most of the increase will go straight to the bottom line, $55-60m for each $1 rise in silver, plus $60m for $100 rise in the gold price. So, at some point in the future FRES may offer a great yield and perhaps a special if silver makes new all time highs.

Most people don’t know that silver is far more conductive than copper

Also, I should add, the most effective and efficient panels use a lot more silver in them and this is a trend likely to escalate as the tech develops.

Renewable energy consumes lots of silver, particularly solar. Fastest growing sector in renewables is solar with Africa and Asia huge markets for panels over the next 20 years. Bodes well for Fres.

Futures have held steady for around a month now at about $33. (Longer dates a few cents higher.) A year ago, they were steady around $26, and $21-23 the summer before that.

Spot silver perky this morning, at MXN547.

Silver MXN532. 50-day average is MXN509 and rising. It was hovering just over MXN400 last summer/autumn - so up over 1/4 and maybe headed for +1/3rd. Futures are also up just over 1/4. FRES shares are similar to or lower than last summer/autumn.

The charts do indeed suggest this potential, which is exciting, not to be feared, number9.
Unless you are playing on margin, without the bankroll to back it up, that is likely to be the real load the boat opportunity, IMO. But time will tell and to each their own decisions etc.

Gold will crash to $1250 before it ever beats it's all time high again. Consequently, silver will plummet like a stone too.
Only bad news to come I'm afraid....danger is around the corner and many will get caught with their pants down. Again.

If you like that sort of thing, Jan 2023 to date is looking quite a lot like an inverted head and shoulders with the second shoulder almost completed.

Gold and silver looking perky again this afternoon but share price not bothered. The share price is similar to last August. Silver's 50-day moving average back then was MXN400. It's now MXN510 and rising. Gold was MXN33k but is now about to rise through MXN41k. Go figure.

Question to ChatGPT
What is today’s gold to silver price ratio? What is the all-time historical average ratio? And using the all time historical ratio, what price would silver be assuming $2300 gold price?

ChatGPT reply…..

As of today, June 27, 2024, the gold-to-silver price ratio is approximately 80.2 This ratio is calculated by dividing the current price of gold by the current price of silver.

Historically, the gold-to-silver ratio has averaged around 15 to 16. This historical ratio is often referenced from periods when bimetallic standards were in place.
Given a gold price of $2300, using the historical average ratio of 15, the price of silver can be estimated by dividing the gold price by the ratio.

Therefore, if the gold price is $2300, the historical ratio would suggest that silver should be priced around $153.33 per ounce.

Silver futures edging up again. Dec 2028 up to $35.19 from bottoming at $33.39 a week ago. Remember these regularly traded around $25-$26 or so until prices decided to move up a level in February so FRES have been able to sell forward above $30 for about 3 months now.
