If it rises to 600 and fails it’ll be a right-side-up H&S

If you like that sort of thing, Jan 2023 to date is looking quite a lot like an inverted head and shoulders with the second shoulder almost completed.

Gold and silver looking perky again this afternoon but share price not bothered. The share price is similar to last August. Silver's 50-day moving average back then was MXN400. It's now MXN510 and rising. Gold was MXN33k but is now about to rise through MXN41k. Go figure.

Question to ChatGPT
What is today’s gold to silver price ratio? What is the all-time historical average ratio? And using the all time historical ratio, what price would silver be assuming $2300 gold price?

ChatGPT reply…..

As of today, June 27, 2024, the gold-to-silver price ratio is approximately 80.2 This ratio is calculated by dividing the current price of gold by the current price of silver.

Historically, the gold-to-silver ratio has averaged around 15 to 16. This historical ratio is often referenced from periods when bimetallic standards were in place.
Given a gold price of $2300, using the historical average ratio of 15, the price of silver can be estimated by dividing the gold price by the ratio.

Therefore, if the gold price is $2300, the historical ratio would suggest that silver should be priced around $153.33 per ounce.

FRES is leader of the FTSE 100 today while the FTSE 100 is making all time highs.

It’s just a matter of time before we see this make all time highs.

Silver futures edging up again. Dec 2028 up to $35.19 from bottoming at $33.39 a week ago. Remember these regularly traded around $25-$26 or so until prices decided to move up a level in February so FRES have been able to sell forward above $30 for about 3 months now.

MXN561 a couple of hours ago and now 557. The 50-day average has broken MXN500, comfortably back into the lower 2021 range.

Silver back over $30. Every $1 rise in silver adds $55m to the bottom line, the same happened in 2020, another bite of the cherry coming up?

Trader465 .. interesting figures .. don’t forget exchange rate benefits also given wages are paid in MXN. To a degree probably what Aleman is trying to say . Only thing is wage inflation in Mexico was running rampant . Swings and roundabouts.

Gold just edged above MXN43,000. Weekly closes have only ever been above that 3 times. Silver also still strong at MXN545. Weekly closes have only ever been above that 18 times.

I suspect a significant % of our 4 billion cap is based on our resources/reserves still not in production
Will we lose any of those resources due to the government’s policies?
I may buy some before the results
