Time for a turnaround for this battered sector. This could be the bottom for PM.

This is all linked to the DXY going going up.......because that what rational economics dictates SHOULD happen when the US Government hits historic debt to GDP levels and then starts accelerating the money printing.

Erm.......

Meanwhile a profitable company with a dived yield better than US treasuries gets panned as everyone desperately buys US treasuries to lock in a loss of purchasing power against a massively understand rate of inflation/CPI.

If you need proof that the era of free markets and capitalism finally ended in the 1990s, look no further.

Meanwhile we'll continue being 'wrong'......but it's a matter of 'when' not 'if' we'll be proven right.

If it drops to £7 I'll but another 1000 and same if it goes to £6.5

None of us know how much longer this is going to take, the US will not let the gold price shooot up with inflation and summer is often low trading.

Caution is what is needed.

George this is the calm before the upwards trajectory storm. I thought we'd see 780p before any lift. Anyone selling now needs sectioning.
I remember piling into BP at 192p. Misus at the time thought I was barmy. The rest is history.

Hope you're pension comes through today Imastu. Great entry points this week.
Got some funds myself to average down with.
Just a blip this. Gold and miners are definitely not the flavour of June. Since 1975 Gold has always performed well between July and September.

Sadly £7 even £6 now look possible, the chart is terrible. Give how most the mining companies have been doing badly over the last few months I am expecting another pull back in the gold price, obviously this is illogical with inflation increasing. But sadly looks like what is about to happen.

I'll be trying to top up if it does fall as ultimately I'm a believer that a similar spike to last year is coming.
