Timy UT differs daily because there are different buy and sell volumes daily

Kenny the clown - you alleged you make 2% “every day” day trading CEY, but yet you cannot provide any of your performance statistics to show me how you outperform Buffet and Simons. You are ADVFN’s biggest clown, keep collecting those trolleys for a living 🛒🛒🛒

For every buyer there has to be a seller. The total number of shares in the float is not increasing or decreasing.

Trader if every seller matches a buyer and vice versa.
Why do buy and sold volumes differ every day in UT?
I'm not questioning you just asking the question as I'm not fully acquainted with the mechanics of the SETS algorithm.

Jim Simons quant Medallion fund is said to be the most successful hedge fund in history with an average return of 40% a year.

Our village idiot Kenny the clown claims to be compounding 2% daily, he's better than Jim Simonds and Warren Buffet!

Not bad performance for a Tesco trolley collector! 🛒🛒🛒

Have you ever been miss-sold PPI insurance? I'm sure our thread idiot can help you out 😆😂🤣

I didn't know that Trader. I was under the impression that the MM held a book. Then matched sells and buys always holding a float.
The lowest bids till end of play today was 800.2p
The lowest offer was 801.2p
So it looks like it held 800p support.
Going to be interesting tomorrow.

Buys v's sells mean nothing, its a PI myth!

Every buyer needs a seller and every seller needs a buyer.

If share price movement was as simple as buy volume v's sell volume quants wouldn't need to spend the tens/hundreds of millions developing complex algorithms. It's pretty simple to record, track and calculate buy v's sell volume over a given period.

"if it were a share you wanted to deramp"

I'm intrigued clown, can you explain this terminology to me and how a "deramp" on a share works?

Kenny the whole sector is suffering.
To be fair to Trader. He has always stuck to the same script. 1H production results. I agree with him, they will be good. Just as long as the market agrees.
If you retrace a year ago around this time, the share price was mirroring the exact same price action as of now. We all know what happened post 3rd July 2020.

An expensive trading adventure for me. What looked to be a good long set-up was nicely in profit but my exit strategy was always an hourly candle below 804, so, I'm out. I genuinely hope you holders sleep well and be patient for the returns that should be forthcoming if you're right.
