18/12/2020 14:30 | Silver is currently $9.84 (60%) higher than the $16.10 achieved by Fres in 2019. On 50moz production = $492,000,000 'extra' profit on silver alone. 2019 full year profit was $205. Get out your calculator and figure out how many 100's of percent rise in profit will they announce in Q1 2021? Don't forget to add in the gold rise. Miners earnings lag PM prices, the 2020 PM price rise will be only partially realised in 2020 earnings, it wont be fully realised until 2021 earnings are announced in Q1 2022. This is because the dip in PM prices in early 2020 will bring down 2020 average achieved sales price. IMO the biggest gains are yet to come, a little patience is required. | trader536
18/12/2020 13:48 | FRES doesn't look weak to me..... | trader536
18/12/2020 13:42 | Using ATR to measure volatility over the last 12 periods shows little difference between FRES and CEY volatility. POLY is less volatile than both FRES and CEY. FRES daily ATR = 42.9p (3.73%) CEY daily ATR = 4.5p (3.70%) POLY daily ATR = 50.4p (2.94%) | trader536
18/12/2020 13:29 | Why is fres so weak on strong Ag? Maybe the market fears that the production report will be poor. | zicopele
18/12/2020 13:20 | I'll continue to hold for now but admittedly getting impatient, tempting to take Fres profit and rotate into Centamin or Poly. Both enjoy bigger daily gains on PM increases and less acute declines when gold or silver are in the red for the session. | permbear
18/12/2020 12:59 | 100 different people would give 100 different reasons for the same move. There's little point in guessing the why's when's or how's. IMO just follow the indicators, Fres is simply bobbing about within its normal volatility range. | trader536
18/12/2020 12:51 | There's been a noticeable partial decoupling of PM prices and Fres share price in the last month or so. Gold up 2% yesterday yet Fres bumbling along sub +2% for most of the session then closing only +1%. Today again, gold back within touching distance of $1,890 again yet Fres currently 1% down and looking worse earlier. Maybe the hedgies have tweaked their algos after repeated disappointing lower ore grade reports. Looks like Fres is falling out of favour after it's insane run to circa 1380 earlier in the year. Any thoughts? | permbear
17/12/2020 18:51 | Certainly plenty of sellers here into rising Au and Ag prices. I'll be holding. I remember a set up just like this a long way back (20 years+) when PoO kept rising but second line Oilers did not. Nasdaq bubble was inflating then too. Could be similar here for a while for all we know. US stocks will as ever give the lead. We'll see. GLA | plunger2
17/12/2020 15:42 | Call it what you like, but profits come from price rises. When did you last make 123% in 3 weeks? | trader536
17/12/2020 15:29 | That's not a share in a viable business, that's a vehicle for mugging idiots who want to be mugged. Market cap of around 26 pence. Please, be serious... | imastu pidgitaswell

15/12/2020 15:22 | All indicators have remained in the green/hold zone for six months. I'd guess we'll see the candles making higher closes as we head towards 2020 year end financials in March. | trader536
15/12/2020 12:02 | Chart looks like a reverse head and shoulders, another 10-15p and the neckline will be broken. A similar chart for gold price too.January is statistically the best month for the gold and silver price. Put all that together and fres is a buy to pay for that Christmas credit card!! | wallywoo

09/12/2020 22:45 | 2603 - last year was 3rd March, so I'd expect around the same time next year. We have Q4 production in Jan which will give us the full year production figs. I've posted some SAV charts over on the SAV thread. | trader536
09/12/2020 19:37 | Monthly chart in fres looks fine to me, I would like to see a higher low this month for confirmation its bottomed out. | 2603
09/12/2020 19:36 | Trader! do you know when they are announcing results? also have you looked at Savannah Resources, like I said before I dont normally get into penny stocks but you have given me the bug HaHa. Lithium and Copper, chart looks like its breaking out above 3p. Could be one to hold for the EV demand. I got in today around 2.85p only a few hundred thousand shares. I may top up on AYM tomorrow if we get a big pull back. Good luck | 2603
09/12/2020 16:57 | Very quiet here the last few days, UK schools must have re-opened?? All looks good as we move closer to 2020 full year figs, which should blow 2019 figs out of the water.... | trader536
04/12/2020 11:28 | Good input. Buy or sell though? | diggybee |
