The cost of buying out the rump gets more insignificant the more shares are already held. So its normally worth offering a reasonable premium, attractive enough for minorities to tender their shares. Gaining full control has many economies and advantages. Sometimes minorities are slowly forced out but normally by privately owned majorities, etc., who don't care about building and maintaining goodwill in the listed markets.

Frasers combined with founder own 67% of shares.Isn't it easy for them to take this private on the cheap? Just need another 8% of shareholders to agree?

I'm in for a small amount Today's news guarantees survival I think we get a bid at 30p in the New year Why would the old bidders walk away now they can get us a lot cheaper Steven would bite their hands off now and retire on a tennis court with his killer forehand

A good trading statement all things considered, wholesale doing well, e commerce doing well, stores obviously closed but they will get grants and furlough for those and US government loan with no payback for three years and to get 6.5 million says someone smarter than me thinks they will be able to pay it back in three years, could we see 20p today?

@csmwssk12hu

No, you're not the only person here :o)

I first purchased in Dec 18, then bought 2x in Jan 20 and 7x my original purchase in Aug 20, so now have 10x my start. These 3 purchases have all been close to the same £ cost !

My average share price is 13.1p, so down, but not as bad as it has been.

Averaging down is often frowned upon, but I'm (still) hoping for a recovery/transition to online, or a buyout.

Oh well chat to myself, the chart is looking great, January is a good time for bid talks on this one, if memory serves me right twice in January in last few years including 41p rejected bid this year! Please bid 41p again I bet this time it would go through, just shows the recovery potentiometer here, £10m mcap is nothing for a company like this imho dyor

Yes Mike Ashley owns about 25% of this already, he knows retail shares and companies are as cheap as they will ever be right now let’s face it when have retailers had to close for half a trading year before (4 months out of 8), there will never be a time to snap them up this cheap, they refused 41p bid in January last year, I think if they had that time over again they would now accept, for the record have been watching website in this and it’s getting better every day functionality wise and some of the clothes are really really good, along with wholesale to likes of ASOS and royalty payments from DFS times looking good

I think next week when the stores that have been closed reopen they are going to be packed, spoke to Hermes driver today and he had 62 drops to one address, people are bored and when bored they shop
