Just starting to rise now, cleared the lows since March today as per one year chart, let’s see if it gets back to 20p as quick as it fell back in March, would be nice to get back into the 40-60 range but small steps hey

Can’t believe Quiz has nearly trebled in two weeks and this has only rose 20% since vaccine, after securing finance would have thought this would take off80

Another 10% up with strongest volume in months, online retailers doing well in lockdown, DFS licensing money at record level and Mike Ashley needing to make moves now before vaccine boost sends prices back to pre covid, bid in January rejected at 41p so what would bid accept now if another bid was made, something in air as last few days been large volumes and price increases all imho dyor

I'm surprised that there's not more interest here with a £10 m/cap......it's still a decent brand imo, they have put in place financing measures meaning they can survive at least 2 years on a worst case scenario outlook, and Mike Ashley holds just under 30%.

Of course, the key is to return to profitability, but with a reasonable and growing on line presence this should be achievable, and when we can all start going out again there'll be a rush for new clobber, as nearly everyone will be 2 sizes bigger!

Sell most clothes online through the likes of ASOS, DFS sales of French Connection collection soaring, that’s just licensing money so no cost of product involved

Its a good brand and great nav but since they have closed most of their shops is the brand worth much and is the great nav (clothes) saleable at a good price?

You should sell your holding. I find thats great at generating an upward run in price.

I’ll be suprised if market doesn’t soar tomorrow on Pfizer news, we knew today it’s now 95% effective but breaking news on ITV is it’s getting emergency clearance this week and will be rolled out in U.K. next week!

Absolutely heaving in town, don think they could have helped city centres and shopping centres anymore than saying there is a lockdown in a few days, probably just done more for retail than eat out to help out for the pubs, now four weeks of wages paid, already rents reduced to turnover based, online about to take off and three weeks of all out shopping in December

Would it be a possibility that Sports Direct might one day takeover French Connection and use the brand to compete with BooHoo?

FCCN NAV looks like about 15p per share (slightly over double where it is today).
So if FCCN was bought for NAV that would give the buyer a great brand at a really silly price!

Sports Direct sell lots of FCCN stock in Frasers.

9 stores closed and reviewing their structural needs for the future. Is it possible they will finally bite the bullet and move to wholesale, licensing and online only? Anyone have detailed information on the store portfolio and the percentages that make or lose money?

They have £15m available just arranged with 2 years maturity, holding till one hour passed, I have noticed virtually all reported trades are sales yet price has ticked up which tells me there is a buy order being filled, cash 5.2m tax credits 4m plus stock this has 16p minimum written all over it, they are closing stores regardless of COVID moving to online, wholesale and licensing, seems to have settled around 7.5p time for a flutter, last trading statement looked like this and by 3pm they had trebled in price

I think I’ll wait an hour and see where these go, the results are as bad as expected, the interesting points are this, the next set could not be any worse, there were a lot of one offs put into that results, e-commerce is up 8% compared to last year which I thought was good considering hardly anyone gone away on holidays, mcap of £9m with £5.2m cash and £4m of tax credits makes it worth more than its mcap, most interesting is the £15m financing and current trading which has given the board confidence to now say this is a going concern again.
